Do you guys want flashbacks of when the Cullen's were gone? Also, I'm sorry for the lack of updates. I kinda just lost my muse for this story for a while.

Rose sets me down and I look around.

'Our spot' was a place that Rose said she had built ages ago. Sort of like a tree house. I don't think the others even know about it. We walk over to an electric piano and sit on the stools in front of it.

"What do you want me to sing?" I ask her.

"Something real." She lays her hand flat against the top of my thigh and I start playing the keys.

I take a deep breath and Rosalie gently turns my face towards her. She presses her lips to mine in a short but meaningful kiss and I pull away.

"Rose?" She hums and I bite my lip.

"I'm scared." My eyes water as I admit what I've been feeling out loud.

"Why, love?"

"I'm afraid that she's going to kill me. She killed my father, how much longer till she comes for me next? You saw the note. It's only a matter of time, Rose." A few tears fall and she wipes them away.

"She's not going to kill you. She'll have to get through all of us first. You're going to be okay. Everything will be okay, Bella. I promise. Things will get better. As soon as this over we're going to go somewhere, okay? Anywhere you want." Rosalie's thumbs wipe under my eyes and I nod.

"Okay," I sniff and she kisses my forehead. "Can we go to Denali? Or New York?" Rosalie smiles and nods.

"How about both? There's a coven in Denali we consider family. We could go there first." I smile slightly, thankful for the distraction.

"We should head back. They're probably worried." She nods in agreement and we stand up.

She grabs my hand and we walk outside and down the steps. She picks me up bridal style and runs back to the house. We walk hand in hand into the house and walk to the kitchen. I get a drink of water and look around.
