an explanation

i don't know how many of you are going to see this, but if you do, ily :)
i'm so sorry for not updating in a whole month. the reason for this is because i've constantly been feeling down about things and i haven't been feeling motivated to write. also, even though all of your comments are so sweet, this story still gets a lot of hate (not just the last chapter, but in general). (for example, it's too rushed, unrealistic, etc.) it's hard to focus on the positive things that you guys say when negative things get me down. it's kind of like when you get a bunch of compliments but one insult stands out, ya feel ? i know that there are a lot of you who are so fucking kind and supportive of me and i really appreciate it, i really do. but it's hard to just focus on the positive all the time. i swear that i won't give up on this story, even though my reads are going down, there are still some of you that enjoy it and i write these chapters for you. i still have everything planned and how this story is going to end in my head, so don't think for a second that i'm gonna give up on it. also, apologies for this long author's note, it's just been a while since i've talked to you guys and i miss y'all. i'm currently working on chapter fifteen but it's hard to write when i get my phone taken away every day, and i always get stuck on writing chapters. i hope you understand. ): AND ALSO thank you so. so. so. much for over 20k reads. i am so grateful, thank you ♡ kate xo
