Dinah: i'm at the airport

Lauren: me too, whereabouts are you?

Dinah: by the exit, I think.

Lauren: omw

"Dinah!" Lauren screamed excitedly. "Lauren!" Dinah grinned and encased the girl in a tight hug. "It's so nice to finally meet you!" "You too Dinah." "Thanks for letting me stay with you." Dinah said when they pulled apart. "It's alright, you're welcome any time." "Thanks." "C'mon, I'll take you to my flat." "Awesome. I'm excited to see it." "Don't be. It's not that great. But it's better than nothing. Honestly I'm just glad to finally have my own space, a place I can call my own." "I wish I did." Dinah huffed as they walked to Lauren's car. "I still live at home with my parents and many, many siblings and cousins." "Well like I say, you're very welcome at mine any time you come down." "So, Normani huh?" "Oh god." Lauren blushed. "I should've known this would come up." "You like her?" "Yeah, I do." "Then what's holding you back from trying it out?" Dinah asked curiously. "I don't wanna go into it." Lauren mumbled. "You should kiss her when we all meet up tomorrow." "Dinah." "What?" "Look, it is admittedly kinda sweet that you're playing matchmaker, but give me some time." "Okay, sorry. But you two would be cute, that's all I'm saying." "Get in, I'll put your bags in the trunk." "Thank you Laur." "Sure, oh, and you can plug in the aux cord and play whatever you want. The drive back is like an hour." "Damn, you didn't have to come all this way for me." "I wanted to." "I didn't know it was so far from you! I'm sure I could have figured something out." "Don't be silly Dinah." The two girls were jamming out to various artists and even some old songs until they finally reached Lauren's apartment. "Well, this is it." Lauren said as she put Dinah's bag down in the living room for the time being. "I like it." "You won't this evening." Lauren grumbled. "So, wanna get some coffee? I've had a long ass flight and I'm only running on adrenaline at the moment." Lauren giggled. "Sure, there's a little coffee place just down the street." "Is it good?" "No idea, but we'll find out together." Lauren shrugged.
