Chapter 18

His hands on my cheeks pulling me closer, His lips molded against mine perfectly.

Stay put

I pull away.

"what are we?" I ask confused.

he looks at me with a confused face and raises his brow.

"humans" he says.

"no I mean like us what are we?"

"were dating..arent we?" he replied.

I smile was forming on my face..

I looked into his eyes.

"well then that's good" I say

we finally decide to go back home.

We pull in our driveway, and cam runs in telling he has to pee. I laugh and nod.

I stay in the car, checking my phone.

2 text messages

I click to see from who they are...

connor: hey .. can we talk?  connor: like now?

I stare at the texts, seeing  how desperately he wants to talk.

I text back every bone in my body telling me not too.

me:what do you want?

it doesn't take him a second to respond.

connor:about us...

me: you ruined us

connor: we can work it out.

me: no we can't

connor: yes haily please

me: nope

connor: just remember stay put

I drop my phone... stay put.

what does he mean?

I hurry inside and run up the stairs. I shut the door behind me...

"leave me alone" I whisper to my self.

Cam comes knocking but I dont answer.  he knocks until he gives up .

I finally feel like he's gone so I open the door. 

He's sitting waiting.

"sorry " I say a little embarrassed.

" its ok what happened?" he asks.

" nothing just felt scared out there"

again his face in disbelief.

"cam im tired. im heading to bed goodnight"

he stands up and tries to kiss me

I look away

his eyes flash in hurt, but ut recovers.

"I want haily back" he says walking away.

I watch as he closes his door and I listen to his lamp turn off.

I walk into my room and shut the door. I can't take Connor anymore, I turn on my light.

"suprise"
