Nico didn't like too much public displays of affection between Will and himself. He felt too self-conscious about everybody watching them kiss- especially since they were a gay couple and he was scared of backlash from the mortal public (and secretly demigods too.) But he never told anyone this because secretly, he loved it when Will held him tightly in his arms and he loved the way Will's face lit up with a smile when Nico kissed back.
