In backyard gardens of hope, flowers spring
And a thousand restless thoughts start to sing.
Bouncing around, rising beliefs bloom,
Then people stand, against their doom.
They rebel their overshadowing king.
.
Marching through the streets, protests in full swing,
Brave soldiers and people alike do cling,
To their tiny words, as they face the gloom,
In their backyard gardens of hope.
.
Not giving up, though wounds may sting,
While scared birds flee from danger, taking wing
Attacking their leader, into his tomb,
Carrying on, as the faint cannons boom
The war bells end, with a faint ding.
