"Where should we go?" Alexio asked, hands by his side. You didn't mind going anywhere, anywhere at all. As long as your father didn't know of your whereabouts. You had your hands folded, walking by the throngs of people. Alexio was by your side. Everywhere you went. Everywhere. You weren't having as much fun as you thought you would, but it would be better if you didn't have your older brother, escorting you. You sighed at how bored you were.

"Mi dispiace (I'm sorry)" he said, displeased with himself. He wanted you to fun as well, but knew what you truley wanted to do.

"Sorry for what?" you sighed sitting on a bench, him beside you.

"That you can't enjoy yourself. I remember how you were so excited to come here, to Venice - it was your favorite time of year. You were only about Amelia's age."

"I was only 9," you said shaking your head. You remembered how you were so happy. You didnt have to think about marrige or...Templars.

"Why don't I get you something to drink?" he said getting up, lightly holding your cheek.

"Grazie, mio fratello (Thank you, my brother)" you said slightly smiling.

Now, he wasn't supposed to leave you unattened. Your father thought of all of the possibilites of you and trouble. But you weren't a troublemaker. You were just at that age. The age of finding a man your father never liked. But who was he kidding, he didn't like any man. No one was good enough for his principessa.

It seemed as if it was taking Alexio forever to bring a tiny glass of champagne. You grew tired of waiting. All until a man, the age of about 17, was staring at you. You shifted uncomfortably, turning the other way. He was talking about you to another man, you could obviously tell. He came up to you. You stared at him, waiting for him to speak.

"Perdonatemi, mia bella signora (Pardon me, my fair lady)" he spoke, he never stuttered, but you knew he was nervous. You slighly smiled at him, he grew more nervous. "May I?" he gesturd his hand towards the seat next to you. You scooted to the left. He sat facing you, looking deep into your {eye color} eyes. You looked away, shy. You never spoke. "Why are you afraid?" he asked, holding you right hand, kissing it.

"Because," you said pulling away, laughing a bit. "If my father saw me talking to a stranger, a man like you, he would have me die the most painful deaths possible."

"Ah, but I am not," he said, smiling. He looked into your eyes again. What he said was true. He wasn't afraid. Afraid of a Templar leader, no. Afraid of a beauty as yourself, yes.

"You are very fiducioso in yourself, aren't you (confident)" you said, looking into his eyes.

"Come we must go now," the man who was talking to him before said, walking to the both of you, he bowed his head slighly, a sign of respect. You cortsied.

"Sì, mio fratello (Yes, my brother) the stranger said to him. The other man walked away, giving you two privicy. "Well, I must leave now." he said depressingly.

"Good bye then...?" you said, waiting for him to fill in the blanks.

"Ezio Auditore," he smiled.

"Ezio!" called the other man.

"Sto arrivando, Fredico. Attendere prego, non voi vedete io sono impegnato con la principessa? (I'm coming Fredrico. Wait please, don't you see I'm busy with this princess?)"

"Please, I am no princess," you said humbly. Standing up, you both looked the other way. You wanted to look at him, but you wouldn't want to start trouble.

"Ezio, si prega di venire ora (Ezio, please come now)" Fredico said.

"Good bye, Ezio," you said, hands folded.

"But-" he stuttered. "I don't know your name."

"{First name} {Last name}" you said sadly.

He smiled and laughed. "Why are you so upset?"

You hated to admit it. You would miss him. You couldn't believe yourself when you thought about him, even when you just met. "I-I wouldnt see you again."

He thought for awhile. "Non ti preoccupare, prometto (Don't worry, you will. I promise)"

He ran off. You knew that you would never see him again. But he sounded as if he would be true to his word. Alexio came back. "Who was that idiota (idiot)" he said watching him run off, jumping onto buildings.

"Oh, no one you know." you said, taking the glass to drink.

"{Name}, did you say anything to him?" he asked suspiciously.

"No, he walked up to me," you said smiling.

For the rest of the night, you had fun. You kept thinking of him and everytime you did, you smiled and when anyone asked why, you laughed.

Back home, you weren't sober. But you were stable around your parents. You stumbled up the stairs, Vitali carried you to your room. You were tired but excited. You were confused about a lot of things. Vitali dropped you on your bed. You rolled around the sheets.

"{Name}, fermarlo (Stop it)" he said, trying to hold you down in one place.

"It's too much fun!" you laughed. You were acting like a chid. No, more like Amelia.

"What has gotten into you tonight?" he asked. You laughed again.

"I'm too tired, lascio che io sia (Leave me be)"

He walked to the door, turned out the oil lamp and said softly: "Buona notte, mia amata sorella (Good night, my beloved sister)"

You closed you eyes, shiffted to a comfortable position, covering yourself with the covers and sighed: "Buona notte, Ezio."

He smiled and then was angry. "Ezio? You mean Vitali?"

"What did I say?" you whispered, asleep.

"{Name}, I-"

You were fast asleep. You dreamt of Ezio, of course. Was he the only thing you could tallk about?

"In the morning," Vitali whispered to himself. "I'll make sure father hears about this."
