Dinah's POV
The second I heard the door unlock i walked in. I went to sit next to Lauren on the floor. After a minute i decided to speak up. "Can I ask you something, Lo?" "es" she said softly. She took her paci out of her mouth so we could talk better. "For how long have you been doing this alone?" "More than a year" she said looking down. Okay, so you don't have a mommy right? "no I no have one" she said staring at the floor. "I can be your mommy, but only if you want to" "weally?" she asked looking up with excitement. "Yes, now can you show me what's more in your bag?" I asked while putting her on my lap "Otay mommy" she said and took out a pacifier with her name on it and a clip attached to it and gave it to me.
after that she took out a cute pink blanket with her name on it. "It soft" she said while rubbing the blanket on my cheek. "Yes it's really soft baby" I said.
Then she took out a whinnie the pooh bottle. "baba" she said before taking out two pj's and a romper. Look it Nala. She said while pointing to one of the pj's. "Yes, I see you're one lucky girl aren't you?" I said "There more" She said while taking some babyclothes out. "They look so cute Lolo" "Nala!" she excitedly said while taking the stuffed animal out of her bag.
Then she looked back in the bag before looking up at me with a hesitating look. "What's wrong babygirl?" "No laugh" she whispered before slowly taking another thing out of her bag. Then I saw she was holding diapers "Awww I would never laugh at you babygirl, little girls like you just need them okay?" "Otay" she said relieved.
"Is there more or was this everything" I asked "There no more" she said
"Okay do you want to tell the girls about me being your mommy now?" I ask putting the pacifier back in her mouth "Es, carry" she said while holding her arms out for me. "Okay let's go then" I said picking her up.
