Chapter 4 (Ross )

Slate's P.O.V

Bage had gone in for sleep, I was out in the woods just roaming it was about 11:30 P.M. Bage and I will be leaving to dimension #64, The dragon dimension. Where we will be hiding from the Lucids, after her ' school '. I found a little cave and I went in I scratched my paw on a log and created a small fire. I picked it up in my mouth. I turned and there was writing on the wall. It was written in red it said:

'You can run but you cant hide, Slate'

 I was beyond confused how did they know Bage and I were going to another dimension? Do they know what dimension though? Probably not they aren't that intelligent. All of a sudden it started raining I put the log down and went out of the cave I could hear the Lucids whispering I ran through the woods and to Bage's house. I quietly went through the basement window it had been unlocked and left open I closed it with my paw and locked it I sniffed trying to find Bage's scent. The Lucids were closer the whispers were louder.

I walked up the stars and up another flight of stairs and saw a door with the light on and door open. I peeked my head in and Bage was sitting on her laptop 

"Bage!" I whisper yelled and went in closing the door behind me.

"Slate? What are you doing here?" She asked closing her laptop

"The Lucids they're here we need to go pack your stuff we leave at dawn."

"But Slate, what about school?" She asked worried 

"We don't have time to sit around Bage" I said

" We need to get you packed and ready for dimension 64." I said she got up and went to her closet she stuffed clothes and toiletries into her backpack.

"I'll act like I'm leaving for school and I will meet you around back but its raining so you can sleep here tonight just stay under the bed." She said. I nodded and went under there she got back into bed. and I eventually fell asleep.
