Lucy's POV

I walked into school and I saw Natsu and I began to run toward him waving.
"Hey Natsu!" I said slightly blushing and he waved back and smiled.
"Hey Luce! What do ya got first period? Please tell me we got some classes together. " he said as he looked at my schedule. I couldn't help but giggle.

I know you're probably thinking that I like him and all, and don't get me wrong I do but I don't know about if he feels the same. Everyone thinks we're dating and all but we aren't. I hope we will one day. I do really like him and do anything for him. But I don't think he even thinks of me that way.

"Look we got first,third, fifth, and eighth period together!" I said and blushed a little.
"Score!" He said and smiled right back at me.

We heard girls laughing and I turned around to see Lisanna and her crew pointing and staring at me like they were making fun of me. I couldn't help but sigh and my smile and giggles disappeared.

"Hey you ok? You just turned super sad what's up?"
"Nothing" I said looking down.
"Hey I'm here for ya ok?" He said grabbing my hand.
"Thanks. Let's go to class" I said and he nodded following me.

"Hey Natsu!" I said and ran to him.
"What's up Luce!" He said with a smile and waved
"Can you sit with me at lunch today?" I said with a smile and light blush.
" Oh yeah of corse!" He said and we walked together to class.
I heard giggles in the hallway again and I tripped face first and Natsu tried to catch me but didn't make it in time. I feel face first in the ground and my lunch spilled all over the floor. My eyes began to water but Natsu nuzzled my cheek with his warm and soft hand.
"Luce you ok?!" He said with sympathy in his eyes.
"I-I'm fine." He took looked around to see who tripped me and no one was there.
"Gosh you sure are clumsy hehe" he said with a bright toothy smile.

He's an idiot

"N-Natsu?" I said grabbing his hand with mine and looking in my eyes and I blushed.
"Y-yeah?" He said blushing as well.
"Can you make a promise?"
"Of course"
" Promise you'll be my friend forever..." I said and a tear managed to escape my face.
He hugged me tightly and nuzzled his chin in my hair.
"I promise"

He then helped me up and we walked to the cafeteria.

We shared lunches that day. It was so much fun.

Natsu's POV

"Hey!Luce!" I said running to her blushing.

Why is she sitting alone? Why does she look so upset?

"Hey? Where...Where you crying Luce?" I asked as she quickly wiped her face. Her eyes where puffy and red.

"Ummmm... nope I just ya know... uh yawned... yeah I yawned no worries.." she said and put on one of her fake smiles.

"Luce..." I said knowing she was lying.
"Natsu I'm ok" she said grabbing my hand. I blushed.

"Let's go to your house tonight ok?"
"I-i can't..."
"What?why? We always hang out. Are you sure you're ok?" I said looking at her confused.
"I'm not feeling good" she said and made a fake cough.
"Ok well let me know if you need anything. I'll walk you home." I said grabbing her hand and pulling her. She didn't move. "Hey? You comin?"

" I want to walk alone ok?" She said with yet another fake smile.
"No"
"Natsu please. I don't know if what I have is contagious ok?" She said.
" Fine but you better call me as soon as you get home! Got it!" I said

She giggled and blushed
"You got it Natsu!" She said she hugged me goodbye and I hugged back kissing her forehead.

We waved goodbye.

~~~~~~next day at school~~~~~~

Natsu's POV

I was at my locker and I say Luce. But she was different today. She was wearing a long sleeved sweater and leggings with long boots and her hair was down. She never wears stuff like that especially to school. I walked to her and closed my locker

"Morning Luce!" I said and hugged her but she flinch in pain and I let go. " you ok?" I said.

She Nodded and walked away.

We never talked all day

I feel so guilty

I feel sad

Lonely

I need her

I walked to Luce's house cause I had a bad feeling and it told me to go to her.

When I got there her door was slightly open and i thought that was weird.

I heard crying

Lucy?

I opened it and The crying was louder

No lights except for the bathroom light

I walked in there to see Lucy crying

Her long sleeved shirt was rolled up

Her wrist were exposed

She had a razor

There's blood all over the bathroom sink

She's cutting herself

I teared up looking at the scene

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING LUCY?!" I screened at her snatching the blade from her

She cried harder

"WHAT THE HELL LUCY?!" I rinsed her wrist in the water.

She cried even more

"Lucy... take off your shirt"

She took it off

Cuts all there was is cuts

Thousands of them

Some old

Some brand new

I snatch her and hugged her tightly

We stood there for a minute she was still crying

"N-Natsu?"
"Yeah?"
"Am I ugly? Am I discusting? Am I worthless? Am I unwanted?"

"Lucy... youre beautiful... kind hearted... you're my everything and I love you..."

"You're just saying that Natsu"

I grabbed her face and kissed her

She kissed back

"Lucy I love you so much..."

" I love you too Natsu"

We kissed again
