"Please," I begged as I stared at her wicked dim eyes, her sickening green skin and her sharp, shinning horns. She grinned without opening her mouth, the closure giving no closure. I imagined a snake tongue wedging it's way between her lips to smell my fear.
"Dearest Aroura," she spoke slowly, enjoying her soon victory. "You stupid girl."
"What did I ever do to you?" I asked, pressing myself to the cold stone wall of the hidden tunnel, wishing to suddenly fall through and be back in the arms of my sweet princess.
"It was your mother," Maleficent sneered, stroking her raven that rested on her wand, mirroring the same smirk. I saw my terrified reflection in it's beady black eyes.
