Chapter 18

It was the next day it was Saturday so I was planning to go see Nathan. I got changed into some grey skinny jeans, a purple top and my purple and black pastry’s. I looked in the mirror and stared at my hair.

I wanted to give myself a full fringe but was it worthet. I shook my head. Nahh it aint worthtet, I then grabbed my scissors and cut a nice side fringe that curled abit. I then straightened my whole head and then put on my make-up.

I quickly put in my silver hoops and put on my cherry lipgloss. I began posing in the mirror, I looked kinda alright. I grabbed my phone and took a few pictures then my phone rang.

-hello?

-Yo b

-oh hi

-you alright

-yeah you

-im good, so you coming over

-yep im leaving in like half an hour

-ite, see you soon then

-okay, bye

-kl” he then hung up.

I then went onto my laptop and uploaded some of the pics on facebook.

A couple of people liked them and commented I just said thank you and then signed off.

I put on my silver chain and got ready to go downstairs my phone then rang again.

-yeah?

-excuse me” he said in some gay voice. I then laughed

-hi Jay

-that’s more like it. So what you doing today

-meeting up with an old friend” I said lying through my teeth

-what about tomorrow

-its my boy’s birthday init, they wanna go pizza hut then he’s going to have a shubz

-oh okay

-so you coming

-yeah yeah, is it a dress up thing” I said walking out of my house

-naah just a casual ting then u can get dressed afterwards for the shubz

-okayy, what boy is it?

-I don’t know if you know him, his name is Nathan” I then stopped

-naah I don’t know him

-thought so, anyways baby girl I’ll see you tomorrow

-okay baby

-I love you

-love you too” I then hung up.

I took a deep breath and continued my journey to Nathan’s.

I soon arrived as his older brother opened the door. He looked at me oddly and shut the door.

Me-what?” I said taking out my mirror.

Him-nah nah nothing.” He looked at me oddly one more time and ran up stairs.

I just stood by the door not knowing what to do. I could hear them propa trying to whisper.

Brother-is there something going on

Him-no, go out or something

Brother-are you dumb” they then both looked at me.

Me-yeah I can hear you” they both lightly laughed.
