Chapter 5: A date with the playboy?

It's a saturday today so I decided to stay in bed.

"Hey Ashley, Don't stay in bed for the whole day.. Get up and do something.. Go shopping or watch movies or hang out with your friends" Mom pulled my blanket

"But why??" I said in a sleepy voice

"Because.. I want you to at least have fun on a weekend.." Mom said

"Sleeping is fun mom." I told her with my eyes closed

"It's not.. Get up" Mom pulled my arm

"Fine, fine, I'm up." I raised both of my arms

I brushed my teeth and went to the shower

Where would I go today? alone.. Maybe to Jessica's? or Danielle's? eat alone at the park? read books? go shopping?

I was talking to myself. great.

After I showered I scanned my wardrobe for something to wear but I can't pick anything. I got a few clothes because most of my clothes were at our burnt house.

Oh.. That's right.. I should go shopping. I have enough money for that.

I used my blue skinny jeans, a loose shirt and a pair of converse . I didn't bother to use jewelries since I'll just go shopping.

I took my wallet and phone and got out from our temporary shelter

I took a cab and waited until we reach the mall.

My phone rang so I took it out from my pocket and answered it

"Hello?" I said

"Oh hi Ashley.. Are you free today?" I looked at the caller ID and saw the name of Chris..

I should have looked at the screen of my phone before answering it

"Uh, no." I said

"I know you are Ash. Meet me at the mall now.. ASAP..okay?" He commanded

"Uhm, for your information, it's my day off today." I rolled my eyes

"I know." He said

"Then why would I still meet you?" I asked

"I missed you." He said and I can feel that he's smirking right now

"Very funny Chris, Very funny." I told him

"It's true Ash.." He said

"Whatever.. I'll go shopping for clothes so yeah, I'm on my way there.." I'm alone anyway so being with my boss isn't bad

"Good..I'll hang up now.." then he did hang up

I got out from the cab and started walking towards the entrance of the mall, then I saw him.. I saw Chris waving his hand

I walked towards him and he smiled

"Just so you know, I'm not your maid for this day." I reminded him

"I know..So..This day, it would be a date." Before I could protest, he grabbed my hand and started walking.. I was electricuted by what he did and I somehow managed to blush a little

This guy is too hard to resist.

Currently, We're walking while holding hands. There was silence among the two of us.

"Chris!!" Someone shouted behind us so we both looked back and saw a girl wearing a skirt and a tube top.

The girl ran towards us and hugged Chris tightly. I wanted my fist to go straight to her face but I stayed calm
