He stopped me with a kiss.

I couldn't bring myself to pull away.
He kissed me with passion, pressing me firmly against him. So much that I could feel his heart beating against me.
We pulled away after what seemed like minutes.
The kiss breathed me to life.
"Because you're all I've been able to think about these past few weeks. You're the only person I've been wanting to see, wanting to hold...wanting to kiss." He brushed his finger tip across my lips.
"I love you, Lexie. And I'm so sorry I did what I did, you didn't deserve it. You're the best thing that's ever happened to me and I don't ever want to lose you. You're all I want and more."
My heart fluttered as I stared into his eyes.
"You mean that?" I couldn't help crying.
"Of course I do."
He kissed me once more before holding me closer to him so I lay on his chest.
I melted into his embrace, listening to the steady beat of his heart.
"I've been wanting to hold you like this for so long." He mumbled.
All my worries left me like magic. I've been dreaming about this moment for awhile...and now its happening.
I can't pinch myself to see if I'm dreaming so I'll just live in the moment.
"I love you too." I yawned, growing sleepy.
"I was waiting for you to say it." He yawned also.
I smiled softly, closing my eyes.
"Do you take me back?"
I thought for a few, coming to a decision.
"Under one condition." I said.
"Anything for you."
"Promise to love me and only me forever."
"I promise."
We both fell asleep.
