Spring.
I absolutely LOVE Spring. Not because it's what's really cliché when it comes to what girls like but because it makes me feel like I can start all over again from Zero.
Flowers that were murdered during winter get a chance to bloom again, The grass that was suffocated by cold snow gets to breathe again. It's a cruel way of looking at it but it makes me feel refreshed anyway.
But it's also the season where the two Yuri's skate their asses off at practice, while I get to practice calmly and chill.
"Ohayo, (Y/N)." Greeted Yuri behind me as he lightly patted my head.
"Stop it, I'm not your cat."
"Oh, right. You're my dog. Arf arf." Yuri giggled.
"Asshole." I murmured as I almost pushed him over the counter.
Practice was over and Yuri decided we could take a stroll at the park. The park scarred me though. The last time I was there was when Yuri dumped me like the little shithead he is.
As we were walking at the park we saw some other couples holding hands, but I didn't notice that Yuri saw them too.
"Ew." We both cringed at the same time. A few seconds later we just stared at each other with stunned faces.
"I-I'm not saying holding your h-hand would be gross..." Yuri stuttered.
"Oh, s-same here! I just thought that... uhm..."
"It's a little too... Lovey-dovey... for me..." Yuri whispered as he turned his head away to cover his blushing face.
"T-Totally agree with you... Let's go, shall we?" I laughed it off. Why were we so embarrased?
Yuri found a spot beside the lake so we decided to rest there. A few moments later I noticed that Yuri probably wanted to talk to me about something.
"What is it?" I sighed.
"How'd you know?"
"Geez. I would know my Jackass of a boyfriend well. Besides, you only take me here when you're in the middle of a problem and you wanna clear your little brain a bit." I explained.
"Well... It's good news though." Yuri pouted.
"What is it, then?"
"I got my own apartment." Yuri smiled.
My eyes widened as I immediately turned Yuri's face towards mine to see if he was lying or not.
"Really?!"
"Yeah, really."
"That's great!" I congratulated him as I lay my back on the grass.
"Th-That means... You're staying... right?" I asked nervously.
"Ofcourse, dimwit." He flicked my forehead. "It's also about damn time Victor get his own. He's getting too comfy in his shitty lil' boyfriend's house." Yuri added.
"They're together?!"
"Just Kidding." Yuri stood up as grabbed my hand and pulled me up.
