A/N: For those who may not know where Authoriplier came from, he's from a skit called "Danger In Fiction."
____________________________________Dark took you by the hand and you felt a familiar tingle fill your body. You observed as the bunker disappeared and a basement took its place. You could barely see around a single thing around you, the basement was bathed in darkness.
"Where are we?" You whispered to Dark, who had let your hand go. He brought a finger to his mouth, walking swiftly and quietly.
"Warfstache's basement. Follow my lead and stay silent." Dark said through your bond, leading you through the room. You heard Dark pulling something out of his pocket, but you couldn't make out what it was. When light illuminated the path before you, you realized it was a flashlight.
Now that you could actually see the basement, you saw that it resembled that of a hospital. Well, it wasn't as clean, with the various fluids spilt across the floor and the general clutter about. I think I just stepped in blood.
You watched Dark quietly opening drawers and cupboards, his analytical eyes glossing over each area. That's something he did a lot, analyzing that is. Sometimes it felt as if he could look into the very culmination of your being and see everything. Every thought, every feeling, every memory, he knew it all. It was an unnerving feeling, but you had gotten used to it.
A groan sounded in another room, startling you both. Quickly, turning off his flashlight, Dark backed away from where the sound came. You moved with him, trying not to make any noise. Another groan was heard, this time louder.
A voice filled the air, causing you to jump violently. It sounded like it was coming from an intercom, but the noise was clearer.
"Darkiplier relit his flashlight with haste, creeping towards the room that lie ahead." The man sounded identical to Mark. You found yourself and Dark moving involuntarily in the direction of the room this dude was talking about. He clicked on his torch, shining it in the open door frame.
"What the fuck?" You said aloud, stopping in your tracks as well as Dark. You two stood still, refusing to move another inch. You heard the voice huff and irritated sigh, before he proceeded to yell at you.
"I said, he and (Y/N) crept towards the room that lie ahead!" His commands became more forceful. "So go in the goddamn room!"
You looked at Dark for guidance. He rolled his eyes, holding up his hands in compliance. He walked forward slowly, as did you.
"As you wish, old friend. Anger won't be necessary." Dark said aloud, while communicating with you through the bond: He's an alter ego, and a weak one at that. But do be careful, he is absolutely capable of killing us.
"Upon entering a new area, they realized the magnitude of their situation." He continued to narrate.
"What the frickle frackle Jensen Ackles are you talking about?" You couldn't hold back your comments. Your irritation was growing by the minute, and you were NOT one who enjoyed being controlled.
"For God's sake." The voice muttered, he let out a long sigh. "You have working eyes, fucking use them!"
"It's dark, okay!" You had to hold back from screaming. Dark put his hand on your shoulder and gave you the 'you need to calm your tits' look.
Dark shined the light around, blood spatters were everywhere on the floor. There were weapons along the walls, old scrolls lining the counter, and jars with freaky shit in them. You scanned the area, nearly shrieking when you see a lone human arm chilling on the ground.
"(Y/N) gasped, saying-"
"That's fucking disgusting."
"Her hands shook vigorously, her fear consuming her."
"Hey!" You barked, "I'm not that scared, okay!" He was right, your hands were shaking, but you were managing.
"(Y/N) continued her journey, coming across an ancient scroll matted with blood."
You walked forward, seeing the paper on the dirty floor. You didn't want to touch it, it looked diseased.
"The item was in her hands, nothing had ever read so cold-"
"You know what? No!" You crossed your arms and stood your ground. You weren't going to obey when you didn't have to.
"No? Alright fine, gimme a second." He began mumbling incoherently, you heard the sound of an eraser on paper. "Okay, alright. Clearly not interested in picking up the obviously important scroll that plays a crucial part to the plot, she decides to stand around like an idiot. She idly awaits for the evil creatures attack, desperate to end her miserable and pointless existence."
"Jesus tap dancing malaria, I get it, Asshole!" You still didn't pick up the scroll, but instead delved deeper in the basement. You checked over you shoulder to make sure Dark was still there, which he was.
"Dark and (Y/N) were growing ever closer to discovering what really resides in this dastardly house."
You heard something clatter on the ground up ahead. You didn't want to keep going, but you didn't really have a choice. It was now or never.
"Just as the pair were upon reaching the answers they sought, Dark's flashlight burnt out, shrouding them in darkness." The light disappeared, rendering the two of you blind as to where you could go next.
"Are you serious?!" Dark whispered loudly, obviously pissed off. "How infuriating."
"Hey, I have to make the story interesting somehow! I know you two morons won't." The man's temper flared. You grabbed Dark's arm, hinting that he shouldn't anger this guy further, even if he was a dick. The two of you inched forward cautiously, worried about any traps that could be up ahead.
"The pace at which the two were travelling at proved not to be quick enough, for the mysterious beings were on their tails."
"We're going, okay. Chill." You said, holding on to Dark's hand to prevent the separation of you two. You stood there with him, unsure of where to go. Dark now led you slowly, ignoring the voices commands.
"Well hurry the fuck up!" His voice cracked. Dark dragged you along as he sprinted full speed ahead. I didn't sign up for all this running bullshit, you thought.
"You're going the wrong way, turn around!"
"Don't. Care." Dark panted sassily, his hand was out to prevent him from running into anything. He felt his hand slam into a solid surface. He fumbled for the knob of a door.
"You don't know what's in there! Don't go in, you could meet your demise!"
You heard the door click open, dark found a light switch and flicked it on. The light showed a long hallway with a single door at the end.
"If you aren't going to go with MY story," The voice went low and quiet, "I will end yours."
"Oh really, disembodied voice?" You replied this time, letting go of Dark. You walked in front of Dark down the hall. "I'm so afraid." The voice's control on the two of you was wearing.
"If you take another step forward, you are really not going to like what happens next." He threatened you. So naturally, you being you and Dark being Dark, you both took a step. You heard the voice sigh disappointedly.
"There goes your happy ending." You were confused and concerned by the meaning of that statement. Oh well, you were going to find out in a matter of seconds.
"Unbeknownst to Dark, I had another trick up my sleeve." The hallway's lights dimmed, you turn around to make sure Dark is following still. When your eyes focus on Dark you see a figure swing a bat at his head. "And it involved blunt force trauma."
