My mind wonders as I sit in Math. She's so beautiful. Shauna is her name. Even her name is gorgeous.
Suddenly the bell rings, pulling me out of my thoughts. Math was last period so I can finally go home! My mum is out tonight and my brother, Uriah, is suppose to be with his girlfriend Marlene. So that means I'll have the house to myself.

The gang are standing near Four's car when I get out.
"Hey Zeke!" They call as I walk up to them. The gang have been my friends since I was younger, including Shauna. To be honest, I've had the largest crush on Shauna for years. I just don't think she likes me back. I wish she would like me....
A hand waves in front of my face. That hand just so happens to belong to Shauna. I wonder what it would feel like to hold her hand. Of course I've held her hand before, but that was when we were younger.
"Zeke! Snap out of it!" Shauna snaps her fingers and I finally focus.
"What were you thinking about anyway?" Four smirks, he knows exactly what I was thinking about.
"Oh nothing!" I smile.

Soon we all start heading home. As I expected, I will be alone. When I get home, I quickly unpack my bag and then race up stairs into my bedroom. I take off my shoes and then put my music on. Not many people know this about me... but I'm a hardcore Shawn Mendes fan. When someone mentions him, it is SO hard not to fangirl.
I turn his most recent song on which reminds me of Shauna.

My phone rings as the song finishes. I freaking LOVE that song!! I quickly answer the phone, checking the ID Caller and seeing that it's Four.
"Hey. What are you doing?" Four asks.
"Just... homework." I lie.
"You were singing to Shawn Mendes, weren't you?" God dam it!
"Maybe..."
"And while singing you were thinking about Shauna." He guess correctly again.
"Uh I just can't get her out of my head!" I explain.
"You're just a kid in love." He says.
"Hey that's a Shawn Mendes song!!" I can practically feel him rolling his eyes.
