Iceland wasn't a very happy boy

He hadn't heard of his best friend in days and was starting to get very concerned

The same day of the reunion but at night, he tried to communicate with him sending him a total of 300 messages and called him 56 times

None of the 356 attempts were successful

Iceland tried asking his family. Everyone denied having seen him leave or acting weird... everyone except his brother

When asked, Norway just sighed and looked directly at Ice

"Look-" he said simply. "I'm pretty sure I know what's good and what's bad for you. Even though I don't care about you at all, I'm pretty much forced to take care of you and whatever I decide is what you'll have to do and respect. Understand?"

Those words hurt very much. Iceland loved his big brother more than anything in the world. Why would he say that?

"That kid... -" Norway continued, "That kid isn't something you deserve. You're shit, you can't get good things. I'm not exactly saying that fuck is a good thing, but if it makes a bastard like you happy, then he's something that brings you joy. And honestly, that's not something someone like you deserves."

Norway paused to rethink something, and after finally deciding himself, he carried on. "No one related to me will EVER, I repeat, EVER, be in a relationship with someone of their same gender. I didn't want to get to that point, but you left me no other choice. Understand, little brother?"  He spat the last two words in a disgusted tone, almost embarrassed he was related to something like Iceland

The young country just stood there, horrified at everything his brother had said. "Why..." he continued to ask himself over and over

Hong Kong was his first true friend. They shared many great moments together and grew so attached to each other, that any or both of them would just die of sadness if they were ever separated. Iceland's feeling towards Hong Kong was something nobody in the world, not even his brother would be able to interfere or change. Yes, he admitted he maybe did like Hong Kong just a tiny bit, but why? Why must they be separated just because his brother feels like it? Love isn't something someone chooses. Why?! It wasn't fair...

Anger started to boil inside him  "No... " Iceland clenched his fist

"What?"

"I said NO" He stood up straight and faced his brother. "You're not going to decide for me"

"It wasn't a question, it was an order-"

Throwing a surprising and quick punch to the other's face, he managed to successfully distract Norway, giving him enough time to run

Where?

He wasn't exactly sure... he just ran on pure instinct, not knowing where he would end up

After running for what seemed hours, he stopped to catch his breath and looked up. He wasn't really surprised as to where he had subconsciously ran to...

Iceland walked over to the ladder under the window he perfectly knew and climbed. Reaching the top, he knocked on the window several times. After minutes of receiving no response, he opened it on his own and stepped into the room

After adjusting his eyes to the unexpected darkness, he looked around looking for his friend.... When he found him however.... he was too shocked to even say something
