Game,Set,Match has finally come to an end but I just wanted to reveal something to the readers that have stuck with me the whole way.
Lewis Hendry was a friend of mine that was shot and killed in AfghanistanFeb 9th 2011 two days before his 21st birthday, he was a truly amazing guy and is so deeply missed! I’ve said before that I imagined ‘Lewis’ to be a cross between Channing Tatum and Leandro Penna, this was not strictly a lie as it’s roughly how the real Lewis looked. I have NOT based the character personality on him or any events in the book on real life, those are solely a creation of my imagination. I know if he was still here he’d probably tease me for writing such soppy bullsh*t, but none the less I would like to dedicate this story to him, sleep tight cheeky monkey, never forgotten <3
