I'm at LaPush beach, sitting on a log with my ear buds in listening to Sorry by Justin Bieber and reading the novel Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick. Someone sits beside me and I look over and see Paul Lahote. I pause my music, take out my ear buds, and put my book mark into my book while closing it. "Hi." I say. "Hey. Elizabeth, right?" He asks. "Yeah. Paul, right?" I ask, even though I already know. "Yeah." He says, smiling. "What are you doing here?" He asks. "Reading, listening to music, and talking to you." I say. "I like the last one the best." He says. "Haha!" I chuckle. "What are you doing here?" I ask. "Just walking and talking." He says. "Do you wanna go get something to eat sometime?" He asks. "Not a date, unless you want it to be one." He adds, quickly. "Yes, I'll eat something with you. Not a date, I don't really know you." I say. "We'll get to know each other over food." He says. "How about tomorrow? Lunch?" He asks. "Umm..sure. Where at?" I ask. "There's a little diner here in LaPush. They have great food." He says. "Alright, I gotta go, see you tomorrow." I say, gathering my things. "See you then." He says.
