Paul is taking me out to dinner in Seattle for Valentine's Day.
"Paul's here!" My mother's voice yells from downstairs. I open my bedroom door and walk down the stairs to Paul.
"I have two presents for you." He tells me while we walk to his truck. (I know she's wearing a dress but trust me, someone can get into a truck wearing a dress)
"What? Why two? And I told you no presents." I ask and say.
"I know but I couldn't help myself. And I know you got me a present." He says.
"I did not." I say.
"I know you, Elizabeth. And you're holding a box." He says, opening my door and helping me up.
"Fine, I did." I say. He gets in and before he starts driving I hand him his present.

"Thank you. Here is yours." He says, smiling and handing me my present.

"Thank you, I love it. What is my other?" I ask, curiously.
"It's in your room. I gave it to your mom before you came down. You won't know until I'm gone." He says, smiling.
"You get on my nerves sometimes." I say, pouting.
"Hush." He says, smiling and chuckling.

~time skip~

Paul drops me off and I walk inside and go straight to my room. I open my door and see a jar full of pink and red starbursts on my bed.

I read the sticker and laugh at the end
