Midoriya Izuku - Your Name

hello again~~ and.. i'm so sorry for the painfully slow updates;; i've still got final exams, and this week especially is very hectic... but i also really wanted to update so here we go! a fluffy one shot with our favourite protagonist, midoriya - in which he works part time at a cafe along side todoroki, where he falls head over heels in love with one of the customers.. horrible, yes i know but i had no other ideas so please bare with me (ू˃̣̣̣̣̣̣︿˂̣̣̣̣̣̣ ू)

"L-Luna-san?" A rather flustered Midoriya asks, fumbling with the warm beverage in his hand as he makes eye contact with the h/c haired girl before him.
"Yes, that's me." She grins
"Thank you, L-Luna-san," Midoriya stutters, "please come again soon!"
"Thank you!" The girl takes the cup and walks out the door. Midoriya sighs, staring longingly at her retreating figure - causing Todoroki to tilt his head in confusion.
"Do you like her or something?" He asks
"Wh-what!? No way!" Midoriya waves his hands in front of his face, blushing furiously.
"I see," Todoroki mumbles, walking back to his cash register and taking another persons order. Truth was though that Midoriya had indeed fallen head over heels for the (E/C) eyed girl, her calm, warm features and her soothing yet bright voice - all seemed so special to him. He sighed yet again before getting back to work.

The morning went by quickly and the two high school students soon went into their afternoon shifts, adjusting the company aprons and ties which were made compulsory to wear. Midoriya begins calling out the names messily written onto the paper cups by his tall friend. No one else could read Todoroki's handwriting so it had to be done. With tired eyes, he scanned the next cup. 'Batman?' He couldn't help but rub his eyes, questioning his recent lack of sleep. No doubt, what was written on the cup was indeed Batman.
"U-um...." Midoriya flushed red "B-Batman?" He asked openly, immediately catching the attention of the other customers in the coffee shop, earning a few stifles of laughter. A familiar pair of e/c eyes soon stare into his, causing his heart to melt in an instant.
"Thank you!" The h/c haired girl giggles, taking the coffee cup from Midoriya and swiftly exiting the coffee shop. He tilted his head, wasn't her name Luna? Was she joking just now? Is Luna her real name? What if he just fell in love with someone called Batman!?

The same thing continued for the next week. 'Luna' would come to the shop with a new name each time. Maya, Yumiko, Tori --- Voldemort, you name it (pun not intended). And it was really getting to Midoriya. How could he have fallen in love with someone he didn't even know the name of? Why was it that she kept on changing her name? He just didn't understand. Todoroki could tell his friend was distressed so when the two were walking home from school, he decided to help solve the whole issue.
"Ask what her real name is," He said bluntly
"Wh-what do you mean!?" Midoriya's eyes widened "I could never-"
"Then I guess you won't ever know her name."
It was true - if Midoriya didn't something soon, he might never be able to see her again. And he definitely didn't want that.
"I'll do it!" He clenched his fists, earning a look of approval from his blunt friend.

The next morning, Midoriya walked into work with a feeling of drea simmering in the pit of his stomach. Asking for someone's name doesn't seem like a big deal at all - however he couldn't help but feel nervous. Would she be creeped out if it were so out of the blue? His stomach felt as if it were being tightly squeezed and twisted into knots. He was snapped out of his panic when Todoroki nudged him, gesturing to the cash register's line. There she was. Her (H/C) hair lightly bouncing behind her as she swayed from back to front on the heel of her foot. Such a simple gesture, yet Midoriya couldn't help but feel a tightening sensation in his chest. That was when she glanced over at him, causing him to snap his head away and mutter to himself incoherently.

Soon her order was passed to Midoriya, and as he fumbled yet again with the drink, he called out the girl. She walked over, hands clasping over Midoriya's as she accepted the cup.
"Thank you!" She smiled her usual smile, strands of hair falling loose from behind her ear. His heart rate quickened. But Midoriya didn't let go.
"U-um!" He spoke up, causing the girl to cock her head to one side.
"Y-your name..." His eyes squinted shut as a red hue emitted from his pale skin "p-please tell me your name!!"
The girl was obviously taken aback from his sudden out burst, but she soon broke into laughter. Midoriya looked up at her, before his eyes widened at their sudden proximity. She pulled on his tie to bring him down to her height before giggling as she whispered :
"(Y/N)," once she released him, she gratefully took the cup before grinning widely "see you, Midoriya-kun."
Said boy blushed, his hand glued to his face as he stared with wide eyes at her retreating figure. W-what just happened? Is that even allowed? Is it even allowed for someone to be so cute? Was it okay? Was it okay for him so be so happy? He immediately shot a glance to Todoroki, who stared back at him,na knowing look plastered on his usual stoic face.
"S-she... Knew my name..."
"...She probably read your name tag."

we all love todoroki-mood-spoiling-shouto...
so why do you think the girl always changed her name?? i've heard ppl actually do this n i've always been curious!!
