In that parallel universe, where the grass was greener and the sky was within reach, the sea deeper and the earth richer, we worked out. We fell in love. We held on. We knew what this was and acknowledged every inch and fibre of it. We shared the same feelings. In that perfect, beautiful universe, we were together. We got it all figured out. We had the sand beneath our feet and waves of ocean in front of us. We had our little adventures, getting lost and finding ourselves in each other's gazes. We kissed tenderly and embraced each and every morning with hearts full of hope and courage to see them all. We were one and we only had one vision ahead of us: to be the best versions of ourselves. We were an individual as well as a team. We loved each other. In that universe, it all worked out. Love was simple. And it didn't end.
