Hello! I'm starting to ride at a stable called Moo Neigh Farms and the girl that is giving the lessons owns Tennessee Walking Horses. This book will describe my riding life (mostly).
I'm alive! Don't worry! I'm sorry I haven't had a riding lesson in a while because of visitation with my dad and spring break and all that crap, so yeah.
Anyway, I finally got a lesson in and I'm just glad I didn't screw up too terribly (except for the fact that I completely lost memory of how to tie a cinch 😂) I got to ride my favorite mare, Dora, again and she did very well, except for a couple moments but I mean she's a mare, what else would I expect? 😂 I'll tell you those stories later
So I got some pictures and videos, well, my Mimi did. Here are the pictures:

(And there's my instructor, Amanda, riding bareback 😂)

And I have a video I wish I could put on this chapter but Wattpad won't let me. I'll just tell you the story. When I first got on Dora, I clicked my tongue because Dora is the kind of mare that you can only tap your heels against her sides once. If you tap twice, she heads into a step pace/flat shod whatever you want to call it.
Anyway, I mounted and clicked my tongue and gave her one tap. Instead of starting at a flat walk, she went into a flat shod and I tried to slow her down by pulling on the reins, but she was being a mare and didn't stop until I really had to slow her down. She eventually stopped, but I'm glad we got it on video 😂. It sort of felt like a trot, but you can't post and it was a lot smoother.
Well I guess that's it for now, I'll have a lesson in a couple days (maybe) I'm out!
