Never judge a book by its cover. That statement can't be more true because I learned that the hard way. You can meet someone for the first time and spend most of or all of your time with them and think you know them, but with people who have something to hide they are usually good at hiding it. And when you are involved when their true colors are revealed their battle becomes yours. Even if you didn't know about it...but in my case their battle was automatically mine when I found out and that made it that much more difficult.
