Finding Calypso

Chapter 4

After last night's incedent, I get up and walk down to the mess hall. Sydney's already down here eating waffles all alone. I sit by her. No one else is up yet. I grab some microwaveable pancakes and sit by her. We sit in silence eating our breakfast for a while when Clarissa walks in.. She gets a bowl and pours lucky charms in it. She sits by Sydney and across me. She gives me a look that says "sorry about last night" Well all she did was make out with Nico and after all he's been through, I think he deserves it. I nod at her and she smiles. "Dang Sydney, that's a lot of waffles." Sydney smiles, "I was hungry." Clarissa starts braiding Sydney's hair. Annabeth walks into the cafeteria and makes a sausage muffin. She gestures at Clarissa and they start talking about something. I hadn't noticed it before but she has bags under her eyes. They don't look like they belong on that pretty face. "I had a dream. About Gaea" I was about to respond when The Argo2 lurches and I fall out of my seat. Clarissa nearly stabs herself in the eye. I run up to the deck. Percy runs up wearing a mix between pajamas and armor. Jason flies up looking like Percy. Where's Piper? "Beauty Queen?!" I yell. Piper seems to pop out of nowhere. A giant squid is attacking my ship. No freaking way. Percy uses his Poseidon power to attack the squid. Jason shocked it and Nico stabbed it in the eye. It sunk back into the ocean. "Let's fly for now." During lunch, Piper walked up to everyone and apologized. She wasn't even using charmspeak and everyone forgave her.
