chapter 53: the enemy: Alvarez!

"Master?"  Lucy asked from behind me "yes?" Mavis replied "Please tell us what we're up against" she said looking towards master Makarov "hmm that's true let me tell you all I know" Master Makarov said "first of all emperor Spriggan, we know him as Zeref here in Ishgar" Master Makarov began "he has a small elite force under him called the Spriggan 12, I've spent a year there but I've only met six of them it could be because it's a lot bigger over there so it's not often they gather.." he stroked his beard "then we have winter general Invel..Zerefs closest aid and consul and just as his name states he uses ice Magic but that's all I know" he told us "ice.." Gray said and I kissed him on the cheek "i know you can have him" i told him and he looked at me and nodded as he pulled me closer in him "The desert king Ajeel is someone we already met during our escape..a wizard with the power to control sand, one of the few in the Spriggan 12 that's always itching for a fight" Master continued "that guy huh?." Natsu said clicking his teeth "the Nation demolisher Brandish,hates fights but she has the power to wipe a nation off the map if she needs to" we met her back at Caracall island..and if I'm not mistaken she probably has magic that could change the mass of another" Erza said out loud "and then we have the war princess Dimaria...I don't know anything about her magic but..she's a female Knight that has survived and triumphed in many wars thus earning that title.." Master Makarov said "so she isn't a wizard??"  Erza asked "that's not the problem is it?"  Cana deadpanned from behind Erza "the strongest of the ten wizard saints God Serena, I guess you'd call him someone deplorable but...his strength is something not be taken lightly. Trust me" Master said "woah having a former wizard saint as an enemy though" Levy shiverd "i wonder why he left Ishgar" Juvia Said "we won't know until we actually meet him I guess.."  Evergreen trailed off "damn traitor" Elfman growled master Makarov's expression darkened "and the Magic king,August...he's..he's on a different level his magic is nothing like the other Spriggan 12" he said as even his face showed terror "I've heard that he's masterd magics of all times and places,in terms of the number of different magics he can use he probably surpasses even Zeref" he said as we all looked at him in shock "there is someone who surpasses Zeref?"  i asked myself "those are the 6 that I have met face-to-face, there are three more whose name I know." Master continued "Bloodman,Nineheart and Wahru" Master said when the first master stepped forward "we must begin formulating a plan, Everyone please
..listen closely."  She said as her eyes turned serious "Zeref will lead his Armies himself" she said "the situation we have been put into I'd overwhelmingly to our disadvantage,our enemies are stronger then any we have ever faced a completely different level foe." She stated "but we will fight to the bitter end,our Courage and bonds holding us all the way Let us show them the power of our guild!" she shouted as the entire guild hall shook as we all cheered.

I was taking a trip trough the city whith Nilani and Arya as we came upon Gray who had his back turned to us eating some Chocolate "Gray.." i said "oh hey you want some?"  he asked as he offered me a bit of chocolate I nodded and bit softly on it while he was still holding it I bit a piece off and chewed it after I swallowed it my eyes softened at him and I smiled "I'm glad to have you" he said out of nowhere making me blush "you're the love of my life" he said looking out over Magnolia "uh well..." i said as I scratched my cheek a small blush painted my cheeks "when this fight is over I want to officially get married" he said and my eyes teared up at him "Gray.." i said as tears trailed down my cheeks I walked to him as he turned to me I laid my head on his chest Nilani in my arms as he hugged me "that is a wonderful idea" i said closing my eyes a bit "you know..Natsu isn't the only one with an Ace in the hole...Zeref...E.N.D just you bastards wait." he said looking over Magnolia taking Nilani in his arms he caressed her face when there was this loud sound coming from the air "what the?"  Gray asked we saw massive flying airship coming our way as the alarm bells started ringing as they opened Fire a barrier probably the work of Freed protected the city I the got a telepathic message from Warren "Leanne team flying dragon squad is needed" he told me so I handed Gray our daughter "I'm needed up there" i told him understood I'm on my way" i told Warren "Arya stay with Gray and Nilani" i said to her as my black the dragon wings sprouted from my back I launched myself into the air and met up with Gajeel Wendy and Natsu "flying dragon squad reporting for duty" Natsu cheered as he was held up by happy "Here we go!" he yelled "okay!" me Gajeel and Wendy replied as we flew towards the Alvarez fleet Gajeel dived straight through a ship using iron to drill trough it and Wendy used a roar attack to blow one ship against another "Star Barrage!" i yelled as stars came crashing from the sky onto at least threw ships and Natsu set some on Fire when they finally started to return fire "Bisca is firing Osprey!" i yelled as I sensed the Magic power gathering below us then this guy who I recognized as Ajeel from Master's description held out his hand and scattered the Jupiter beam "What the!" i called still a few ships were destroyed by the scattering beam but the main ship was intact Gajeel dropped down on the ship as the other dragon slayers with me followed him on the ship "well you've sure made a fine mess of things" Ajeel said and I looked at my right to see ALL dragon slayers get motion sick "WENDY!?!" i called shocked that my little sister also had motion sickness apparently Ajeel was just as shocked I face palmed and let out an sigh he looked at me for a moment in questioning and I shrugged my shoulders not knowing what to say "Please tell me this is some kind of joke.." he asked "well what ever we've taken considerable damage tell what ever ships remaining to land, I'll take care of these comedians" he said to one of the soldiers on the ship as he approached Natsu he grabbed him by the scarf "you were yapping like you were hot shit back on Alvarez boy, what happened to all bravado?" he asked with a smug grin "Don't make me laugh what could a small band of two-bit small-fry like you.." he began but didn't notice me sneaking up behind him as I immediately grabbed him by the neck and threw him backwards into the mast of the ship "black star dragon's Nebula blade!" i chanted creating my star sword I grabbed it and sliced straight trough the hull disconnecting the front with the back I gave him a small salute as I smelled Erza approaching in her heaven's wheel armor the exceeds came picking up their dragon slayers as I used my wings to fly off the falling ship part "leave Erza be she can handle it we need to get you guys to the ground" i called to the dragon slayers they nodded in understanding "come on let's take care of those ships" i called flying towards the Alvarez ships that had landed Natsu dove down with his fist hitting enemy soldiers.

Natsu was fighting this guy with a scarf covering his eyes in the mean time me Gajeel and Wendy took care of the lower rank soldiers as Iron black star and sky magic razed over the battle field Natsu had defeated his opponent when we look to the sky and saw more approaching "when will this end.." i said when I saw that Natsu was hit on the head by the guy who he was battling "Natsu!" Wendy called but before we knew what happened Natsu punched the guy in the air I let out a whistle as Gajeel put his hand over his eyes as he looked after the guy "damn Natsu" i said but before anyone could continue a sand storm started Raging around us "we need to find cover!"  i yelled as the dragon slayers nodded we all ran in a direction looking for cover against the sandstorm we were halfway through when it died down "the sandstorm has.." Wendy began "dissappeard" Gajeel finished for her as me and Natsu looked at each other we nodded and grinned as we looked into the sky "well done Erza" i said smiling
