Writing Fanfiction Based on a Book, TV Series, or a Movie...
• one of my pet peeves is when a writer copies the dialogue from a movie, tv show, or book just to only add one of their characters and change absolutely nothing about the plot
- first off, everything is the same except for when the character adds one or two lines of dialogue (which usually is stolen from another character)
- second thing::: if you do this, I will probably read it until I get bored, until I find a better one in between chapters, or if the book is waiting for an update (at this point I probably won't ever read it again because it just doesn't interest me)
