The house was once again in a standstill from the tension coming from the two skeletons Fresh and Error. His words pierced Errors soul with terrible fear and panic, but he refused to show that to Fresh. He's not gonna let this damn parasite get the best of him.

Error tried to think of some nasty comeback to tell him, but then remembered who was standing behind him. He didn't see his face, but he could feel the fear come from Ink. Error heard Ink taking steps away from the two, his bones almost rattling. He turned around, ready to console the little skeleton, but he was beat to it by Fresh. He had rushed past the dark skeleton and went straight to Ink, his arms were wrapped around the little skeleton in a comforting hug.

"Don't be scared little dude. I ain't gonna hurt ya. I never will."

Ink seemed to relax at his words and return his hug with a small smile on his face. Error felt his soul clench at the sight, it suddenly got harder to breathe. He knew he was jealous, there was no use denying it. If shouldn't be like this....He should be the one holding Ink....He should be the one telling him those things....HE should be the one Ink smiles at and hugs!But.......no...........Error doesn't deserve to do any of that......not after everything Fresh threw back at him.......

Maybe he was right.......Inks source of pain came from him and him alone. Every bit of hurt and grief that Ink has ever gone through, was because of him. The screams that were once music to his ears, was now a haunting ghost in his head. The dust from the fallen monsters of all the AU's he's destroyed stain his hands, as an everlasting sin that he can never wash away.........If there was some way that he could take it all back, he'd do it in a heartbeat..........Hell he would sell his own soul to the demon itself to fix everything.....For Inks sake......

Fresh finally let go of Ink, giving him a big smile with his glasses back on, hiding his eyes again.

"I'll catch ya later bro, k?"

Ink chuckled slightly at Fresh. He had always liked the way the weird skeleton talked.

"Yeah Fresh, I'll see you later."

Fresh smiled and gave Ink a playful wink as he headed towards the door. He stopped and turned towards Error before walking out of the house. His face was blank but Error could feel his glare behind the glasses. Not a word was spoken, but Error knew the message he was sending. He could feel it going through his mind.

{IM WATCHING YOU ERROR}

Then Fresh was gone, the door still wide open and a small patch of snow slowly growing in the doorway. For a few seconds, neither of the skeletons said anything. The house fell silent once again.

After a few minutes, Ink looked over to Error and took a few steps closer to him.He raised his hand slowly, aiming to gently grab Errors shoulder, but that didn't happen. Error could feel the eyes of the other on him and grabbed Inks hand before it touched him. He looked at Ink, the small yellow pupils in his eyes staring right at Ink.

His breath hitched in the back of his throat as he stared at Errors eyes. Something flashed through his face for a quick second, but Ink couldn't tell what it was. It was hard to read Error's expression most of the time, usually because Ink is too focused on trying to survive his attacks or he's hanging upside down by his strings. But right now....it was very small, and vague....but he could see kindness and care from him.....that was a rare thing for Ink to see.

The grip Error had on his hand tightened slightly, making him worry. Suddenly, Error pulled the colorful skeleton right into his chest and forgot all about Inks hand, wrapping both of his arms around him in a tight embrace. Ink let out a small gasp, not thinking of what to say. He was surprised at how warm Error was, and how soft his jacket felt against him. The strong arms holding him were very gentle, and he could hear Errors soul beat in his rib cage. It was soft and soothing to Ink, almost like a melody in a lullaby. He felt Error's head tilt down to his level and felt his breath where his ears should be. A soft whisper could be heard from Error.

"I'm sorry if I scared you Ink...please forgive me..."

The eyes of the smaller skeleton were wide open as he heard these words from him. He's never heard Error apologize for anything.......It was now clear to Ink that the man before him really has change. But he does not yet understand that he is the reason Error is changing. Before he could respond however, the glitching skeleton had let go of him, and teleported himself to somewhere else, leaving Ink alone and confused.

So now here he stood, alone and cold from the snow outside. His soul felt warm and jittery after what Error told him. A small blush dusted his cheeks as he place his hands over his beating soul. He didn't get to tell Error how he felt, but now, he's starting to think that maybe....just maybe.....Error feels the same way.......

"WOWZERS IS THAT YOU INK?!?"
