*** A feather-light touch of fingers, Brushing side by side, Strangers bound by the beauty, Of standing together with pride.
The roar of a crowd surrounding, To rebel against worldly fear, Because bravery blossoms in a world, Where love is always near.
We stand together and cry and feel, And sing every single word, Because a message so inspirational, Needs desperately to be heard.
If we cower we give them power, If we cower they win the war, If we cower life is wasted, If we cower we shut hope's door.
With every attack we're left broken, As the death toll rises our spirits fall, Every day we are reminded, That we are "weak"- That we are "small".
But humanity is a gift we are given, To resist against those who lack it, And hope and love are weapons used, To show we won't submit.

A/N I'm heartbroken at what we have experienced in the UK in the last month. I'm heartbroken at what the whole world experiences everyday as a result of war and persecution and discrimination. But I am so incredibly happy and I am filled with an indescribable joy that in the midst of all the hate we are able to unite and promote love. We continuously resist against terrorism and crime and we are winning. We need to continue to fight with our hearts and not with our guns. We are strong and we can get through anything aslongaswecontinueto believe in humanity.
My gratitude towards Ariana Grande and her team today for doing something so wonderful and bringing so much light and strength through music and happiness.
