×Tsunade's POV×
--"This mission has proven to be very difficult for all of you to accomplish."-- I said while looking at all of them with my fingers interlaced in front of my face.
They all started to have a peck of guilt showing on their face expression. Especially the girl's.
--"That's why some close allies decided to help. You may come in."-- I said, they all looked behind their backs with an expression full of curiosity and faith.
--"It's nice to see you all again."-- Gaara said with a faint smile while someone else was hiding behind him.
--"Lord Kazekage."-- they all said in unison and bowed down.
--"No need for formalities, your all my friends."-- Gaara said with a soft tone.
They all stood up straight and greeted Gaara normally. (And by they I mean, Naruto, Hinata, Sasuke, Sakura, Shikamaru, Temari, Neji , Tenten, Sai and Ino)
--"Are you planning on staying back there?"-- Gaara asked as he looked at his back with the corner of his eye.
--"No... sorry. Hi, I'm Matsuri Hitora..."-- she said shyly.
Naruto started to inspect her ...--"So what's your relationship with Gaara, huh?"-- he asked with a curious face.
--"Umm well..."-- Matsuri started off saying and looked up to Gaara for approval of what she was about to say. He slightly nodded and gave her a faint smile.--"I'm his girlfriend."-- she added.
The room grew silent for a second but Naruto quickly disrupted that awkward silence.
--"Way to go Gaara!"-- Naruto said as he went up to said guy to high five him. He then leaned towards him and whispered something to Gaara.
Gaara then gave Naruto a reassuring smile and said...--"She did, from the very beginning actually."-- he looked back at Matsuri just to make her turn a bright shed of pink, although she didn't know what they were talking about.
--"Ehhem."-- I coughed to get everyone's attention.
--"They'll be the one's who'll help you complete this mission."--
They all nodded and said in unison...--"Yes Ma'lady."--
--"Ok, so here's the plan. You'll be going on separate team's. Two teams to be exact. The first team will be led by Naruto and the second team will be led by Gaara. The ones who'll be on the first squad are...
Naruto Uzumaki & Hinata Hyuga
Shikamaru Nara & Temari Sabaku
Sasuke Uchiha & Sakura Haruno.
The one's who'll be on the second squad are...
Gaara Sabaku & Matsuri Hitora
Neji Hyuga & Tenten Mitsachi
Sai....."-- I was saying until Ino mouthed me something that spelled out 'Yamanaka'...--"Sai Yamanaka & Ino Yamanaka.
By hearing this Sai looked at Ino with a surprised expression. She then told him in a soft tone, --"We're still married, remember?"-- she winked at him. He smiled and nodded.
--"These teams have been hand-picked by yours truly, they're based on abilities and skills you'll be needing as you go your separate ways. The first team will be taking the west approach while the second team while be taking the east side.
I suggest you pack all your belongings today. You'll be leaving tomorrow, at midnight."--
