The infamous, Boys Over Flowers, is a classic and timeless piece of Korean drama artwork. Why? This is the drama you first watch, and accidentally finish within two days -or, with the exception of, Playful Kiss. Although I didn't watch that, it's a similar concept which regards the beginning of a blackhole into Korean drama land. Yes, there are much better dramas, but this is definitely a base contribution, which is why I put it on such a high pedestal. It was my first, and you never forget your first.

The kdrama cliches of BOF are noticeable and make you cringe, after you've experienced the modern kdramas, but it's like puberty -you have to go through it at an early stage.

I'm going to touch a controversial subject, who did I ship? There's no way of being neutral in this drama, and that has been made clear. I am for Gu Jun Pyo and Geum Jan Di, sorry Yun Ji Hu! I usually do not fall for the second male lead; however, there are exceptions, this is not one of them. Gu Jun Pyo showed so much growth and that was so attractive. I loved that Jan Di made him become more humane and he brought out her strong-will, helping each other grow makes a great relationship. Ji Hu always made her all up in her confused emotions, which did not help her better. People say that Ji Hu never gave Jan Di mixed feelings like Gu Jun Pyo did, but this is my statement for that: /SPOILERS/ In the beginning, he was fond over Min Seo Hyeon and all of a sudden, when she gets with the French dutch-price or some shit, he wants Jan Di. Saying playful shit like "Let's date behind Gu Jun Pyo's back." LIKE BITCH (sorry violin bby) DON'T ACT LIKE YOU DON'T KNOW JAN DI IS CURIOUS ABOUT YOU BEING HER ANGELIC MUSICAL HERO OKAY. And then throughout the series, he's all like Gu Jun Pyo and bro code, "Let's get your girl for you." BUT THEN CONTINUES TO TALK ABOUT HER EMOTIONS IN CONFIDENTIALITY WITH HER AS IF THAT DOESN'T MAKE NAIVE GIRLS LIKE JAN DI SWOON. LET'S BE TRUTHFUL HERE, the only time Gu Jun Pyo was a dick, besides 24/7 #richboyproblems, was when Ji Hu literally kissed Jan Di while she and Gu Jun Pyo were not completely there yet, but at least PUBLICLY OFFICIAL. Gu Jun Pyo's first love, who wouldn't be heartbroken after all he did for her, yes all materialistic, BUT STILL, THEY'D GET THERE EVENTUALLY. When he was taking over the company, and wanted nothing to do with Jan Di -he could've handled it better. YOU KNOW WHAT, at least his reasons were far better towards his actions than Ji Hu's. He didn't want to risk thousands of jobs of thousands of families. /SPOILERS END/

I liked Ga Eul and Lee Jeong together, the character development was crazy good. That saxophone scene haunts my dreams, in a good way. There's no flaw in their relationship, sorry not sorry.

Jan Di's family gave me mixed feelings. Money hungry, but only wanted Jan Di to have a better life that they couldn't provide. IT MADE MY HEART WARM WHEN I FINALLY UNDERSTOOD. Her dad is so good, overpowered by the wife, but always sided with reasonable Jan Di. He makes my heart hurt.

WOO BIN IS SO UNDERRATED OKAY. HIS FIGHT SCENES MADE MY PUSSY TINGLE SO... DON'T BE SLEEPING ON MY REAL ESATE GOLDEN BOY.

GU JUN PYO'S MOM CAN SUCK MY COCK, BUT SHE MADE ME CONFUSED AT THE END.

GU JUN PYO'S SISTER, JUN HEE, IS LIKE WHO I ASPIRE TO BE. Sexy, badass, and intelligent. She was such a great mother-figure to Gu Jun Pyo tbh.

GJP's mom's secretary be giving me all kinds of fucked up messy emotions like BOY DO I LIKE YOU OR NOT.
