(HI!! Sorry it's been so long!! I am waiting to see if my crush will text me back (long story) and I got bored cause he does a lot of stuff (at night, I know. He doesn't do anything bad I swear). I'm rambling. ON WITH THE STORY)
Well! Your head exclaimed, There goes my heart again! Slow down!!
You began staring at your thumbs, messing with them. You then looked out the window, trying not to glance over at Matthew. With his wonderful brown hair, and deep eyes, and nice outfi-
No! Your head turned back to the window. Don't look at him! You tucked a strand of hair behind your ear, focusing on the slight sound your movements made in the car. Every now and then the wheel would make some small noise as Matthew turned it. Even with the embarrassment you had just experienced, the rest was mostly peaceful.
TIME SKIP (And omg this is so bad)
Finally pulling into the lot of the restaurant, Matthew-as for freakin' usual-(WHO GETS IT?!)gets out and opens the door for you like the handsome gentleman he is. Of course, you rolled your eyes, pretending that you didn't give a shhhhh-(Promised one of my readers I wouldn't cuss! Must resist!)-crap whether or not he did, when really, it made your day every time.
You glanced up at the building and gasped in surprise.
There were edges carved beautifully and painted golden, perfectly sculpted wood and metal, and large glass doors that had the restaurant's name written in gold, flowing lettering.
"This place is beautiful.." You whispered. A small click of the car locking allowed you to wake up and turn, watching as Matthew stepped toward you. He smiled-that perfect, award winning smile-and placed his hand on your shoulder, making you blush, and gently pushed you inside.
It smelled wonderful. Your senses instantly filled with all kinds of dishes: lobster, steak, soup, salad, pork, chicken, fish. Every good, yet fancy, food you could think of was most likely there. Waiters and waitresses seemed to float along the floor with grace and ease as they moved quickly to their next customer, the black and white outfits going perfectly with the dark wood and gold painted decoration. Candles flickered on each table, dancing around every time a server whooshed by.
"Nice, huh?"
"Wha?" Your head snapped around to see a tall man with red hair and brown eyes. A waiter suit sat snugly on him, not too big, not too small. He smiled gently at you, probably ignoring the embarrassment that molded into your face.
"The table your friend went to is over here. Are you Y/N? The birthday girl?" He asked.
What am I? Five?
You nodded anyway, just to be polite.
He nodded back, guiding you to a table where your sister, Matthew, and B/F/N (Best Friend's Name) sat.
Your sister grinned before standing quickly and waving you over, speaking happily:
"Welcome to your birthday dinner!"
(Roll credits I know. Don't get mad at me for the sucky, tiny chapter. I haven't slept much lately (but I don't really care because of my reason for not sleeping) and I am bored, and probably drunk on something in the million sprites I drank today because my stomach has been hurting lately. I rambled again, sorry. Hope you enjoyed, though!I doubt you did). Any who.. HAVE A NICE DAY/ NIGHT)
