The New Girl

Chapter 6

(Allie's POV)

I was waiting on the new girl, outside, to get done paying for the meal.

Nearly 10 minutes went by.

"What's taking so long," I said to myself. "it shouldn't be taking this long."

I finally decided I would go and see whats taking her. I got to the door fixing to walk in when I saw her in some girls arms. I've never seen her before. I can tell she's tall, skinny but not too skinny, pretty with mid-length dark purple hair.

I stood there watching them hugging and talking. It looks like they knew each other pretty well, because that girl made her smile and laugh, something I haven't seen her do. It made me mad how she could make her happy like that, but what do I care.

Getting tired of standing there and watching them be all happy I walked into the restaurant.

"Hey I've been waiting outside for like ever, while you're in here talking to whoever this is." i said eyeing the girl up and down.

"I have a name you know." the purple haired girl said with a raised eyebrow while folding her arms.

"I don't really care, I just want to go home!"

"You should be a little nicer." the new girl said in her quiet voice.

"You should hurry up with your little reunion so I can go home." I snapped back.

"Hey, don't talk to her like that! Why don't you just walk home you have legs don't you! The purple haired girl fired back.

"Sorry to interrupt, but everyone's staring. Can we go outside?" the quiet girl said.

"Yeah, whatever you say." Purple hair said smiling at the new girl and exited the restaurant.

I just rolled my eyes and followed them out the door.

While outside I continued asking her if she can take me home. she finally agreed, but not without inviting purple hair along.

I got stuck sitting in the back while Blaire, finally knowing her name, sat up front.

I had to watch them laugh and talk and joke around all the way home. It made me upset, I don't why. I guess it's just because I don't like either of them.

Also why does she act all happy around this Blaire person and not me. I'm not that bad of a person, I can be fun, but she just makes me mad, i thought to myself.

"Hey, Allie is it? sorry about snapping at you earlier. I just didn't like how you were talking to her." Blaire said.

"It's fine, I was just tired and ready to go home and besides, that's how I act anyways." I said.

"Well you won't have any friends acting like that."

"Just so you know I have a lot of friends and i'm the most popular girl in school."

"That explains why you act that way, you think since your popular you can treat and act anyway you want. Also you seem stuck up" She said snickering.

"What'd you say!"

"You heard me."

I was fixing to say something until the new girl stared at me to calm down, then she stared at Blaire.

"Ook," Blaire said to her smiling.

"Sorry again Allie, I was just joking around with you." Blaire said turning to me.

"Whatever."

I finally arrived at home. Thank the lord.

"Thanks for the ride I guess. see you later." I said.
