Fading memories

Three weeks had passed since that day, or was it 3? I couldn't even remember my age. All I could remember was, my brother was dead in the army. I still had the letter so that was something to help me remember. I don't know how I even got into this mess either for a start. I glanced towards the sky a faint smile on my face as I stood in the park. There was this thing going on. People from the army stood around telling others about the wars and recruiting other people. Females signed themselves up for nursing and such.
There were those old fashioned jeeps where people could sit in the back usually where the weapons were loaded up on and hidden but not so well using a soft material usually in white in films.

I walked towards one of the men and gave him a faint smile writing my name down on the pad that lay in front of him. This one was one to actually sign up for the war compared to the other pads that were for nursing and all that other rubbish.
I remember my brother died fighting to protect this town. Honerable brother. That's what I'm going to do too, well, if I die anyway

((Again, I'm sorry for not updating much. I've been busy with College and family stuff and also running low on ideas. I'm so sorry. If you have any ideas, that would be great if you could tell me them. Thank you
