I Don't Even Know Your Name

Today. Today I will see Shawn Mendes, my idol for many years, live. I was on his last tour and it was so fun! I missed him even though he doesn't know me. I got ready and drove to the venue that he would perform in. I wanted to be first row so I had to be early. I waited in line for about 6 hours. All the girls next to me are really nice. I love meeting other Shawn Fans. Although I don't love Shawn. Don't get me wrong I really like him but I LOVE his music I never felt more connected to any other music. It is great. And I'm excited for the concert. When the doors opens I ran up to the stage. Yes first row. I got it. Most of the girls went to the merch stand first but I don't want merch. I waited till the concert began. James TW was great. And now shawn is on stage. Omg how I love this concert. He began with Theres Nothing Holdin Me Back a super tune! After that he sang Lights On I love this song. Not because of the meaning and the lyrics but because of the instruments and the melody. During Lights On he looked in my direction I had the feeling he directly looked in my eyes but I don't think that I just imagined. I probably didn't even saw me. But as soon as I smiled by thinking he looked at me he smiled too. Then Lights On finished. He shortly said something and began with the Mashup from Kid In Love, Aftertaste, I Want You Back and I Don't Even Know You're Name. I love I Don't Even Know You're Name. It is probably my favourite song of him. Just the imagination that he probably wrote this song about a fan. I don't want to be the fan but it would make one fan so so happy if she'd know. But I love this song also because of the meaning, the lyrics, just everything! As soon as he reached the I Don't Even Know You're Name part he looked in my direction again. Is he looking at me? I don't know. But I gave a thumb up and smiled and as soon shawn didn't had to play a chord on his guitar he gave a thumb up in my direction... what? No he doesn't see me. That's all your illusion. Stop it y/n. When the Mashup ended Shawn bend down to talk to On of the securitymen in front of the stage. He pointed in my direction again. He than went on with his concert while the securityguard came in my direction. Oh shit what is going on? "Hey, you, can you climb up the fence please?" The securityguard said. "Me?" I asked. "Yeah" He shortly said. So I did. What is going on? "Can you stay here till the concert ended?" He asked again. "Oh sure." I said still confused. I don't think I have something against it. I mean I don't have to be pressed up the fence. The concert was great. I had my space to dance (like an idiot) and I had the feeling shawn looked at me more than often and smiled. Probably because I looked very stupid. When he went offstage the same security man came up to me. "Come with me." He said walking backstage. I did. Still confused. "Excuse me sir. Where are we going?" I asked shyly. "Shawn wants to see you." What?! No! Wait. Stop. What?!?! "Ehm... i Don't think I'm the one he wants to see... he doesn't even know I exist." I was so confused. "I just do what he said to me. We're here" he pushed an door open. He said I should take a seat on the sofa in the room and that shawn will be there in a few minutes. So I took a seat and waited. Still confused. And then. There he was. Shawn Mendes. He opened the door and as soon as he saw you he smiled. "Hey! Great to see you! How are you?" He asked while hugging you. "Oh...ehm... I'm confused I guess. But... great to see you too?" I stutter. "Oh, haha didn't they tell you why you're here?" He drank water out of his bottle. "No, did I win something?" "I don't think so... it depends how you see it?" He went to the sofa and sit down. "Ok...?" I still didn't knew what was going on. I sat next to him. "So... as you maybe noticed... I looked a lot to you during the concert. Which was really funny by the way." He laughed. Wow he laughed about me. "So... when I first noticed you, you seemed familiar. I didn't knew why but when I began to sing I Don't Even Know Your Name I remembered that... eh... I maybe write this song about...you?" He blushed and looked on the floor. "Aww that's cute." I said smiling. "What? You don't get a fan girl attack?" Now he was confused. "Haha no... why should I? I think it's pretty cute. I love this song by the way. Good Job!" "Thank you!" An awkward silence abgab to grow. Think about something y/n. What can you talk about. "So I'm y/n." I shook his hand. "Nice to meet you y/n" "oh and when I have the chance now... I really love your music. I think  your the best songwriter out there. And I listen to a lot of artists. I feel so related to every song of yours. So thank you for that!" "Oh... eh... thank you! That means a lot!" He was nervous. But why? He didn't seemed like one of those guys that can't talk to girls. "Ok... shoot it!... I mean you obviously listened to IDEKYN haven't you?" I nodded. "So you know... that I'm having feelings for you... even though I don't know you.." he looked me in the eyes. "You.... are having... feelings for me?" I didn't know how to respond to this. "Eh... yes... so I can understand if you say no... and that would be totally ok for me..." oh no what does he want... "do you want to go on a date with me? You can say no th..." "No shawn..." I interrupted him. "Ok... I can und..." he looked sad. "No shawn that was not what I meant. I.. yes... I'll go on a date with you!" I smiled. He looked at me with wide opened eyes. He smiled. You could see that he was really excited. "Thank you! Thank you so much y/n!""hahah no thank you for asking me out on a date!" I laughed. Even though I don't have any feelings I'll go with him. If it makes him happy. We'll probably never see each other after this. "Ok I have to go now but can I pick you up at 7 tomorrow?" He asked. "Sure. Here's my address." I wrote it down and gave him the paper. "I'm excited. See you." And he went out the room. Wow was this real? What just happened? Ok just go home and sleep.
