Sooo... I just filled out a form to work in my local library over the summer and they asked about gender. I'm cis female so I just out female but the options were:
• Female
• Male
• Non-binary
• Other (specify)
The representation makes me happy 😊
The more awkward bit was that they asked about sexuality... And I was filling out the form with my mum (who I'm not out to).
The options were:
• Gay/Lesbian
• Bisexual
• Heterosexual/straight
• Other (specify)
• Decline to state
I clicked "decline to state" because I'm not clicking straight when I'm ace but I'm not saying ace when I'm closeted.
Not entirely sure why they asked about sexuality though...?
Another awkward thing (which made sense) was asking you religion. My mum is Christian but I'm more agnostic. I don't believe in God or not believe in God, I'm in the middle. Anyway I ticked Christian for that because it's less awkward.
Has anyone else ever been in any awkward gender/sexuality situations like that? Feel free to share in the comments (or don't I don't mind)
