Astrid P.O.V

If you ask me what I think about (name), I would lie to your face in a heartbeat. I really didn't know why, but I did. How could have fallen for this man/woman/(race). I tried not to show it to the others as best I could, but I always found myself giving him/her/them the best contracts.

I find myself waiting for her/his/their return.

Normal P.O.V

You walked into the sanctuary cover in head to toe with blood. All you wanted to do at this time was get a drink.

"Welcome back sister/brother/(name)."  You looked over to the voice, it was Astrid your leader. "What happened to you?" She had this worried tone in her voice. She made her way over toward you.

"That contract was hiding behind a whole group of Forsworns." You said while pulling off your mask. Letting your (color) hair be free.

"I see you did leave anything alive." She replied, now standing right beside you.

"One, just so he could tell the all the other who not to fuck with..." You sigh while taking a seat in a chair. "Teach them to mess with the dark brotherhood."She laughs at your comment.

"You did well." Astrid handed you your pay to you, she then started to walk away from you.

"Hey, Astrid." You called out to her, she turns around with this shine in her eye. You couldn't tell what she was thinking. " I was thinking to go out for a drink, like to come with?" A smile was present on your face when you asked her.

"I-Sure, I could go for a drink." She replies while turning her back to you.

'did her voice just get higher?' You asked yourself, you stood up while whipping the swaet off your forehead. "Great, I'm going to shower before we head out. See you in 20." You said while walking away.

~~~~~ Skip time 20 minutes later ~~~~~

You walked out back to the front door of Sanctuary. There Astrid stood with her hair down. Usually, she would have it a little so it won't get in her face. She was also wearing normal clothing, you would have never thought you would see her like this.

"Ready?" You ask while moving some of your wet hair out of your face. "It's nice out tonight won't you say?" The two of you started to walk to Falkenring.

"I have to agree, It's been a long white since I've taken the time to see the night for what is really is." The whole way there the two of spoke of something else besides death. The Inn was full, lucky you and Astrid were able to find a spot away from everyone else. 

You took a large drink of your mead, you lead back in your seat just. "This is nice." Astrid seems off this whole time like she was holding the something back. "If have something to say, just say it."

Astrid P.O.V

I didn't know what to tell her/him/them, what do I say? "I have nothing to say-"

"That's bull, you been off the whole trip here." (name) reply. I could always tell him/her/them and if it goes south, I can always just say it was the drink. 

"I've just had my mind on someone..." I told her while putting the bottle to my lips. (name) sat his/her/their drink down the table.

"And who would that person be? Must be some lucky guy/girl/person I guess." He/she/they giggle/chuckle. I could feel my face heat you, what do I do? I can't hide my face without my mask."Hey if I tell you who I have taken a liking to, then you tell me yours. Deal"

Normal P.O.V

Astrid looked somewhat shocked at your words. You had put out your hand to shake on it. "What you don't trust me? It's not like I'm going to tell." You said, she sighs before taking you hand and saying deal.

"You."  You said with a sweet smile on your face.

"Never-sorry what now?" She was very much indeed shock at your answer. You lead over the table to give her a kiss on the cheek. You pull away with this huge smirk on your face. 

"Your turn." You said before picking up your drink, next thing you knew was the feeling of lips against yours. You place the drink down before kissing her back. 'Overall this day has been alright.' you thought to yourself.
