Chapter 5

*Alarm ringing*

I stretched as I woke up to my loud ass alarm. If my alarm wasn't loud Id probably sleep in. I got out of bed and did my usual routine and got dressed (outfit above). I added the glasses to add a lil something and their super cute. I grabbed my bag and phone while heading downstairs.

"Morning grandma no diner today". I asked

"No your off today too, we get a break until next Monday". She said

"That's great i don't have to fight you to make you stay home". I said smiling

"Mhm, here I made you a smoothie, go so your on time for school lil girl". She said as she handed me a mango smoothie.

I hugged her and kissed her on the cheek.

"Bye old lady I love you". I said

"Your lucky I can't run to whoop your behind". She said

I laughed and left.

I got in my car and made my way to school.

*Skips to lunch*

"Stop putting rice in my milk Zoe damn a nigga can't drink his milk in piece". Dre said dumping his milk in the garbage.

Me and Zoe were dying at his reaction. Zoe put rice in his milk while him and Chris were talking.

"Ight ight I won't do it no more babe, you forgive me". She said kissing his cheek

"I will if you su-". He began

"See that's why Ima keep putting rice in yo milk". She said punching his arm

"Y'all foolish". I said while laughing

"Wassup Lucas where you was". Chris asked as he came to the table

"Had to take my lil sister somewhere real quick". He said

"Look a you being a good brother". Chris teased

"Nigga shut up, what y'all have planned for tonight?". He asked as he ate his food

"Can we go to the lounge, people supposed to be performing tonight?". Zoe said

"Is it taco night?". Lucas asked

She nodded in response. All the guys looked at each other coming to a decision.

"Ight". They all said in unison

"Don't think we forgot bout you girl". Chris said singling me out

"Nah man it's better if she don't come, it's fine". Lucas said

"In that case I'll definitely be coming". I said smirking

If he wants to play games with me I'll happily join.

He kissed his teeth in response to my answer.

"Ok the bell is about to ring, I'll pick you up Naomi, just text me your address". She said as we all got up to go to our next class.

School had just finished and I was making my way to my car. When I got in my car I put my stuff in the passenger seat. As I was starting my car I noticed two people in the car in front of. I then noticed it was Lucas and some girl kissing. Just to be an asshole I turned on the egnition of my car then honked. It caused Lucas to hit his head. I stopped myself from laughing and acted like I was sorry.

When I drove off I couldn't help but laugh.

Before you know I was home. I decided to text Zoe my address and ask what time she would be coming. She texted back a few minutes later, saying by 9. I got out of my car and opened the front door to let myself in.
