I am the cause of deathI wonder "will it end"
I hear their mocking voices
I see roman guards
I want to spare his life
I am cause of death
I pretend He's just a man
I feel His blood soak in
I touch His exposed flesh
I worry they do not know
I cry for it to stop
I am the cause of death
I understand that this must happen
I say that i am sorry
I dream for the day to come
I try not to feel
I hope that they believe
I am the cause of death
(Sorry it has been so long since I posted a new poem! life got crazy as it tends to do. Any ideas on whose perspective this poem is written from?)
