Surprise Pt. 2

-Zane-
I shot up, what time was it? I didn't know. My phone was on the night table, I checked it. "12:56 am." I sighed and flopped back onto the pillow, then I sat up again. Kawaii~Chan wasn't there, her phone was on the night table charging but she wasn't. I got up and checked her room, nope. I went to the kitchen, living room, and roof, she wasn't home. I sighed, she probably went to see Aph. I was already up so I sat on the couch, then it hit me. 'What if something happened to her?'

"I still think you should've told him you were coming here, he probably thinks you've been kidnapped." Aphmau said, Blue sitting on her lap.
"Why would you suggest that?" I asked curiously.
"Well, you did leave your phone." I giggled embarrassed.
"Oops." I replied.
"So he really popped the question?" I nodded she smiled.
"Aw tell me everything."
"Okay, so, yesterday he was asking if we could hang out and I said sure. Then we went and did all these fun things; we got ice cream and ended up at our tree. We sat there and then he asked me."
"That's goals. Anyway, did you tell him?"
"No, but he said he wanted a family with me."
"Do you think he knows?"
"Maybe?" She sighed, I yawned. "I think I'm gonna go."
"Alright Kawaii~Chan, but be back bright and early." I nodded as I got up and made my way home. The lights were dim as I walked in, creeping up the stairs I felt a pair of arms wrap around me, making me gasp.
"Where were you?" Zane asked, he sounded worried.
"Aph's, I was helping her with Blue."
"Why didn't you take your phone?"
"I forgot it."
"Well next time leave a note or something."
"Okay, sorry." I said, looking at him. He kissed my forehead.
"I'm just worried KC, I don't want to lose you." He sighed. I giggled and jumped on his bed, falling asleep almost instantly. I felt his arms wrap around me, making me feel safe. His heart beat next to mine as we slept, the sun shone through the window as I eyes opened slowly. I carefully got up and left, this time remembering to take my phone. I walked down the street to Aphmau's place as she was already setting up with Aaron and Garroth, Katelyn and Travis were playing with Blue.
"KC I got the box, it's upstairs." I nodded and went upstairs to find the test in a present box, all I needed to do was close it and tie the bow. I whipped through it before having everything I needed ready. The decorations were finished, Teony and Ivy were just finishing up on the snacks. I felt a buzz in my pocket, it was Zane.

Z- Where did you go?
KC- Aph's
KC- I remembered my phone, are you proud of me?
Z- Yes, Very,
Z- now, I'm coming over.

"Aphmau he's coming!"
"Who's coming?" I turned around to see Zianna, who had asked the question.
"Zane, we're throwing him a birthday party." She gasped.
"Is that an engagement ring?!" She screeched, everyone turned to face me as I blushed.
"Um..."
"Aw Kawaii~Chan I'm so happy my little Zoo-Zoo found someone like you." I smiled as she hugged me, there was a knock on the door.
"Ahh, there's my son." Garté exclaimed as Zane walked in.
"Happy Birthday Zane!" I said as I went over and hugged him, he looked at the decorations before smiling.
"You're all too nice." He said quietly.
"Aww Zoo-Zoo you're not wearing your mask."
"I know mom, KC's changed me."
"That's too cute!" She gushed as she went to go see Garroth. We made our way to the living room and ended up with Blue, we all sat on the couches while Zane played with the baby.
"Aw Zane you're so good with kids." Katelyn said, he smiled.
"Yeah, I like them as a matter of fact. I'd like my own someday." I blushed as he said that, Aphmau covered her mouth in shock.
"You hear that KC? That's your cue." She winked as I blushed more.
"Katelyn~~~~~" she laughed as I gave my present. His smile turned serious as he looked at me.
"Kawaii~Chan you didn't-"
"Open it, you said you've always wanted one, but you'll have to wait a bit to get it." Aphmau laughed and nodded. He opened the box and froze, before standing up and pulling me out of the room. We stood in the opposite room, he looked at me disheartened.
"Are you serious?" He asked, his voice cracked.
"I thought you would be happy-"
"We didn't even- there's no way there's a real thing in there." He said pointing to my stomach. I shook my head.
"We were drunk that night, I remember."
"It was that night after the beach day we had." The kitchen was empty, Aphmau and Aaron had left hours ago.
"Damn girl, you come here often?" I smiled.
"I live here with you, dork."
"Well, since we live together, are we a thing?"
"Yeah, we do couple things."
"Can we do something else that is 'couple things?'" "I remember laughing at your happy drunk slurs. "Like what?" "The rest, happened." I finished, he was wide eyed before he hugged me.
"So you're serious."
"Yep." He looked at me in the eyes."
"I'm gonna be a dad." Tears came rolling down his cheeks as he kissed me. I smiled and kissed back.
