Chapter One

Kurt's POV

"Elton!!. Elton where are you?" I've been looking for my bunny Elton all morning and he's nowhere to be found. i've been looking on his cage, under my bed, under Kate's bed,under the TV table on the fridge, pretty much everywhere. I don't know who trained him but he's very good at hide and seek! even better than me. 

I was looking under the dining table when suddenly someone knocked on my apartment door and shouting my name, I can tell that it was Sam's voice but I wonder why he came this early. I ran to the door and accidentally slipped on Elton's toy and fell right to the floor. it hurts! I heard Sam asking what happened I said I'm fine and quickly get up and open the door.

The first ting I saw when I opened the door was Sam’s impatient expression and from the experience I had with him, I know he didn’t like it.

"What took you so long?" he said while throwing his jacket at me. Seems like he put the phrase ‘Make yourself at home’ in action.

 "Good morning to you too Sam, and I’m honored to put this precious thing of yours to whereit belongs." I said throwing his jacket back at him, he frowned and hang his jacket by himself.

 "What are you doing here at this hour?" I grab some drinks for him.

“ I'm doing my morning routine and suddenly a super brilliant idea came to my head!"he said in enthusiasm.

“ I’m not sure of your definition of ‘Morning routine’ but let’s hear your so called super brilliant idea. “ He rolled his eyes but the enthusiasm filled his eyes and he jumped from the couch and sit on the kitchen table

"We should make little contest for our fans! and the prize is they get to make a cover with us!" I looked at him thinking if that’s a good idea or not.

After a minute of thinking I came to the conclusion that his idea is pretty great, well it’s kind of genius, but I’m not gonna tell him that.

“ It’s great, I’m in. How does this contest work?” I asked while grabbing some leftover lasagna from the refrigerator and put it on the oven when suddenly Elton hop from the back of the oven.

" There you are! it's your breakfast time!" I grabbed Elton and put him on the kitchen table and gave him little apple. Sam looked at me as if I was forgetting him. He tried to take a piece of Elton’s apple but I slapped his hand and he retreated.

" Do you want to hear the details or not?" Sam asked, annoed by previous action.

 " Okay okay.. let's hear it" I took a seat as Sam began to explain the details.

“ So first of all, we have to make an announcement video and we should do it today. Afer that you upload that video on your main channel and then we share it on our social medias. For the video itself, we give them 1 month. The fans have to send us a video of them covering a full song. After one month we both have to choose the lucky fans who get a once in a lifetime chance to meet, collaborate and spend time with us, plus a full paid trip to Los Angeles. Oh the last thing, we have to make sure that only US citizens could enter the contest. ” Sam explained. I have to admit that his plan is really great.

“ I think it is a great idea. Shold we start now?” I asked. He gave me his silly grin and bbegan to walk towards my oven, a second later the oven went off and Sam quickly but carefully grab my heated lasagna.

“ After I eat this.” He said then runaway from the kitchen. I’d love to shout at him but thanks to the contest idea seems like I’m in a good mood. Well no matter how silly and annoying he can be, Sam will always be my best friend.

After heating another lasagna, I went to the living room and took a seat next to Sam, he just finish his lasagna and looking at mine like he was an eagle and my food was his prey. Of course I didn’t give it to him, but if you know Sam, he won’t stoop until he gets what he want. And in the end I’m the one who’s giving up and I let him finish my lasagna.

“ So, when do we start?” I asked.

“ Now! But I think you have to shower first.” He said while pushing me to the bathroom.

“ Hey! I can walk just fine!” Sam rolled his eyes and let me go.

“ I give you 3 minutes. If you don’t come out by then, I’ll make the video myself!”

“ Yes mom.” I laugh and close the bathroom door right in front of his face. Sam was shouting outside and I know he’ll get me back later.

“ I’m ready! ” I said. and the first thing I saw when I open up my room/studio door is a camera and some lighting, and my favorite chair which is occupied by a thing I called Sam.

“ Great! Now sit!” he ordered.

“ move.” I said

“ No! I sit here! Lets say you have to pay after you close a door in front of my face.” He said

“ Whatever. Now come on, we have an awesome announcement to make!” I said. no matter how silly and annoying Sam act right now, the excitement of making this contest overcome anyhting.

Soon as the camera start filming, Sam and I greeted our fans and then Sam begin to explain how the contest work plus the terms and conditions.

“ We can’t wait to see your videos! May the best singer win!” Sam said

“ Don’t forget to send your videos to kurtsamcollabproject@gmail.com.” I said

“ Bye guys!” we said.

I stop the camera from recording and begin to clean up the filming equipment.

“ About the email you told our fans to send their videos to, have you really make it or you just make it up?” Sam asked

“ I’m making it up. But don’t worry I’ll make thaat email as a real email after I finish cleaning the mess you made.” I said

“ And I’ll be outside watching annything on TV so I have some excuse not to help you.” He said. with that Sam got out from my room and leaving me behind with all this mess.

“ when will you upload our announcement video? ” Sam asked when I finish tidying my room.

“ I’m going to make the email account first then I’ll – ”

“ Yeah I get it.” Sam cut my words. Lucky for him I’m in a very good mood.

I can’t wait to meet the lucky winner of this contest.

As I said, I decided to do some editing nd make the early chapters longer.and I hope you guys like it :)
