It's Hopeless

Hi guys!! I did write a Shawn Mendes fanfic (he's my favourite person ever!!) But unfortunately it deleted. I'm trying to improve my story writing, and I may attempt another Mendes fanfic after this. I don't know why I bother. No matter how hard I try, my love life always seems to collapse, bringing me back to square one. I'm on the verge of giving up. My head snaps up as my best friend Jaydon walks in. He notices me with my head in my hands, sat on my blue sofa, almost in tears. He sighs in sympathy, lowering himself beside me.
"Why so down?" (I thought of Fifth Harmony's new song Down lol.....LONG AS YOU'RE HOLDING ME DOWN, DOWN, DOWN)
"You know why."
"Right. Get up now. Get your laptop"
"Urghhhh" I glared at my best friend of 23 years (in this, they are both 27, and are friends since 4 years old)
I stare at him in confusion, but I drag myself up the stairs that seem to last forever. Call me soppy, but I've had enough of multiple ladies. I'm ready to settle and have a family.
"Hurry up Colson!" I hear him yell.
I slope down the stairs, still in my PJs and down.
I enter the room where Jaydon promptly snatches the laptop, and logging on, goes to a brightly coloured website. I try to look over his shoulder, but he turns away. I whine in irritation. Then I notice my email app being opened. I frown in confusion.

After a few minutes of typing and muttering, Jaydon hands me the laptop, smugly smiling. I give him my best "what did you do?" look.
"I applied for you to appear on Take Me Out..."

Ooooooooh cliffhanger mwahaha
I feel like I'm moving too fast...
I hope you find this okay. Please comment, your comments are a huge help to me as I will know what I am doing right/wrong.
I legit came up with the idea and wrote this in less than half an hour. Personal best! Legit so proud of myself right now hehe

I've read a lot of fanfics on these five, and I'm running out, so if anyone knows a good fanfic on any of the five mentioned, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE COMMENT THEM!!!
