Chapter 4
P.S----It's a short update
It's a bright, sunny summer day. The sun is at it's peak and the children are running around a park. Sounds of giggles and laughters can be heard as the kids run around playing with each other.
"Ruko main tum hai nahi chodungi" A young girl says as she gets up from the floor and chases around a boy that looks to be around her age.
"Chodeghi toh tab, jab pakdeghi" The boy teases the girl as he ran around the swings.
THe cat and mouse chase continues for a few minutes before the girl get tired and leans stopes. Looking back and seeing the girl out of breath, the boy walks back to her and hands her a bottle of water.
"Dekha mainey kaha tha na, key tu mujhe catch nahi kar shakti" The boy says as he patts her back.
"Iss bar toh tu bach gaya Raj, magar aagli baar nahi bach payeaga" Says the girl
"Tu humesha aaisa hi keathi hai Naina, magar kar kar nahi dekhete" Says Raj laughing at Naina
"Tere toh" Says Naina and the chase begins all over over

"Aah" I screamed up as I woke up drenched in my own sweat. Being used to waking up to such dreams, I wiped my forehead with the back of my hand and sat in my bed staring into space trying to catch my breath and calm myself down. Once my heartbeat with back to rhythm and my breath even, I reached to my nightstand and grabbed the water. Getting up from the bed I got ready for the day ahead of me.

I was engrossed in a file when I heard a knock on the door. Without letting my eyes leave the file, I asked the person to come in.
"Ma'am yeah woh files jo aap ne magay thay" I heard the person say
"Table par rakh do" I replied without looking at the person. Through my peripheral vision I saw the person put down the files on the table.
"Main ja shakta hoon ma'am" He asked and I nodded in affirmative.
Reaching the door, the person hesitated to open the door. Finally putting down the file I said "Kuch aur baath hai kya, Lt. Sharma?"
"Haan ma'am, aapun ko aap se kuch poocha tha.....boley toh kuch personal" He said
"Personal?..Aacha bolo kya baath hai" I questioned, confused as to what Alekh wanted to know
"Ma'am kya aapke aur Rajveer sir kay beech kuch locha hai kya...."
His straightforward and bold question caught me off guard "Kya.... keahna kya chatay hai aap Lt."
"Zyada kuch nahi ma'am....... aagar kuch hai bhi toh, yeah aapun ka kaam nahi hai magar"
"You are absoulately right Lt. It's none of your business"
"Aapun bas itna keahna chata hai ki yeah jo aapun sab ka mission hai who bohot hi zayada inportnat hai, aur aapun nahi chata hi aap dono ki beech kay lafdey se mission par koi bhi aach aayay" He stated matter effectively.
"1st thing Lt. meri personal life aur mein beetey hui aatit aap ki business nahi hai, so aaj kay baad never ask me anything personal.....aur dusri baath, mujhe aapne kaam karna aachi tarah se aath hai, aur mujhe ek recent pass out Lt. se advise lenay ki jarurat nahi hain" I said with a angry undertone "DISMISS"
With that he gave a respectful nod and went out.
"Naina how can you be so reckless. Log already sawal karna suru kar chukay hai. Tujhe aapne feeling ko better undercontrol karna hi hoga, warna sab ko...." I told myself.
I went back to studying my file when the intercom came on requesting all faculty and cadet to report to the common room before dinner
All the cadets and Faulty were waiting for BC to come and make whatever announcement he had to make.
"Yaar yeah tau ko bhi aabhi bhulana tha......bhook se pet main chua (rat) cricket khel rahay hai aur iss tau ne yaha bhula liya" Huda whispered to Yudi, who was standing next to him.
"Right bro...aur iss Maj. Singh ki drills ki waja se double bhook lagi hai" Yudi Exclaimed
"Aap log aapne guru ki baat kar rahay hai, thodi toh izzat se karea" Ali whisper to Huda from behind them
Right then BC came and stood by the podium
"At Ease Cadets.....Aap sab ko yaha bhuliya gaya hai ek announcement karney ki liya. Classes suru huya 1 mahaney ho chukay hai, aur iss ek mahaney mark kay baad 1st year cadets ki training aur bhi jyada difficult ho jayage. Iss liya, yeah tough time suru karne se pehele KMA kay tradition kay mutabhik 1st year kay cadets kay relaxation kay liya ek Fresher's ball host hota hai, aur iss saal ka ball hoga theek 1 hafte baad." He announced
This announcement was followed by a hutting, hollowing, and clapping by the cadets.
"Silent Cadet" Screamed BC, and slowly the sound died down.
"Cadet Galot, Cadet Sharma, Cadet Huda, Cadet Sahani, Cadet Ghai,aur Cadet Beig, step foreward"..... "KMA ki faculty ne Ball ki zimadari aap sab ko diya aur, aur aap sab ko advice karengay Maj. Singh. If you have any questions you will report to her, crystal"
"Yes sir....." The cadets said and the gathering was dismissed
After dinner, I called Raj and Alekh to my room.
"Ma'am aap ne humay yaha kyu bhuiya" Alekh questioned
"Main ne aap dono ko ki hamaray mission kay baray mein bataya tha....aur aaj mujhe headquarters se yeah file mili hai" I said handing Raj the file that I was reading this afternoon
"Kaisa file hai yeah" Asked Raj
"Capt. Shekhawat iss file mein KMA ki cadets aur faculty ki janam kundali hai.....har who detail hai jo iss mission kay dhuran hamay jarurat par shakti hai"
"Magar yeah case toh kafi saal peechay tak jata hai...kuch 3-4 saal aagay ki baat kar rahay hai hum." Alekh stated
"I am aware Lt. iss liya who file main peechay 5 saal ki cadets aur faculty ki details hai. Capt. Aap ki responsibility hai ki aap iss file ki sare naam aur information cross check karay....." I said "Aur aaj BC....mera matlab Brigadier Chandok ne Baal ki announcement kar diya.Officers humay aagle 1 hafta hay liya zayda attentive hona hoga, kyuki preparation ki daruan Cadets aur faculty busy hongay aur iss se aacha muka nahi milay ussay attack karnay kay liya"
"Tum.....I mean aap bilkul sahi bol rahi hai" Raj said
I picked up another file and handed it to Alekh "Lt. iss file main KMA ki security details hai. I want ki aap issay aache tara study kara and let me know if there are holes in the security plan" "Clear"
Both of them nodded in affirmative and turned around to leave.
"Capt. Rajveer can you stay for a minute
Raj with a confused look stayed back while I went into my room to fetch something. Coming out I handed Raj a stack of letters
"Yeah who sab chitti hai jo aap ne mujhe likhey thay.....mujhe ab iss kay koi jarurat nahi hai" With that I turned around and walked into my room, and the last sound I heard before going back to sleep was the sound of the door closing behind Raj
