Arika's Numbness~Sequel to The Joker's Daughter

Chapter 2

Grayson's Pov
Arika got kidnapped a second time. What is wrong with me? I-I-I can't protect her. I'm a failure. "Robin calm down. We'll find her." I look at Artemis.
"I failed her. I couldn't protect her. I-I-I don't know what to do. She probably hates me because of that stupid girl." I can't stop pacing around. I'm going mad! Calm down Gray. You'll find her. I know i will. I just have to. I can't leave without her.
"I-I can't live without her, Artemis. I just can't." I said
"Don't worry. She's probably fine. She might be planning an escape right now." Artemis said trying to console me.
"Artemis, can i tell you a secret?" I asked
"Go ahead."
"A couple of months after we rescue Arika, i ask her to marry me. What if she doesn't want to marry me anymore? What if i lost her?" I asked
"Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait! You ask her to marry you!" she screamed
"Yes.......When she almost died that night.....I knew i couldn't live without her." I told her back remembering the day I asked her.
"R-Robin wow. I-I-I'm speechless." She said
"I need her in my life." I said
"Gray, we'll find her and when you explain that it was an attack she'll take you back for sure. She loves you."
"I hope so too." I said looking at the ground in shame and worry.

3rd Pov
"Harm should get her a doctor and a more comfortable bed. Harm will see to that she falls in love with Harm. Harm can get her anything she wants." Harm said unless you already figure it out it was him.

Harm walks up the stairs and into his room. He sat down on a chair he has in his room. The room walls brown. Stuffed animals on the walls. A king size bed in the middle and a drawer on the left side wall. A door leading to the bathroom on the right. Another door next to the bathroom is a room. Not as big as Harm's but a good enough room.
"Harm will have this Goddess. Arika will stay with me forever. Harm should cut her hair. Arika will look better with short hair." Harm got up and went to his bathroom.

He open a mirror cabinet and grab the pair of scissors. Harm got out of the bathroom and headed downstairs where Arika is. When he got there he sees Arika asleep on the ground. He unlocked the gate and went in. He picked her up and place her on the bed gently He sat her up and started to cut her hair. Little by little her hair began to get shorter and less heavy. Whenever he cut a piece of her hair he would hold it then throw it on the floor. Harm didn't want Arika to be itchy and uncomfortable. When he finished he gently put Arika's head on the pillow and left. He lock the gate and went upstairs. He went back to the bathroom and put away the scissors. He then went into the kitchen. "Harm will make something for Arika when she wakes up." He started to take out bread, ham, cheese, and lettuce.

He started to make a sandwich. Harm didn't really know how to cook so this was all he was going to make for her. When he was done he put the sandwich in a plate and once again went downstairs. He didn't open the gate. He just slip the plate between the bars and went upstairs to get new clothes for Arika.

Robin's Pov (Aka Grayson)
Everyone finally is here. We're all at the meeting room planning a way to find Arika.
"Gray, she ran all the way to your school to pick you up. Didn't you see her?" Said Megan. I look down. Anger is filling me.
"I didn't see her but she did see me." I said
"What?" Said Wally.
"Robin here was being molested by this girl and Arika saw. She probably thought that Gray was cheating on her so she ran out of school." Artemis looks at me with pity. I hate being pitied
"I ran to find her. I heard an explosion in the opposite direction. I ran towards it and I saw Harm and Arika unconscious in his arms." I look around to see everybody's faces.

Wally has a sad expression. Zatanna and Megan worry. Conner angry. We have to find Arika. I already miss her long shiny black hair. Her clear blue eyes. Her warm body. How she fits perfectly against my body. I even miss smelling her strawberry shampoo.
"First thing first. We have to find her location. Everyone spread out and look for Harm. I will ask for others to keep an eye out for Harm. Got it." Said Batman. We all nodded. It's pretty dark out and i'm not hungry. I went to my bedroom and lay on my bed. I miss Arika. I miss bringing her here and cuddle then we fall asleep. Our anniversary is coming up. I hope we get her back before. I hope she's all right. I finally found the right gift. I've been looking for it everywhere. It took me a year to find it. My eyelids felt heavy. How can i sleep when Arika is gone. Then darkness filled my vision.
