I stand on a chair,

my neck wrapped in my belt.

Belt tied to my light.

I never played a leading role,

 in my own story.

I breathe in.

I was among those,

I felt were superior to me.

I twist around getting ready to knock the chair down.

Those who controlled me.

I close my eyes.

My body said no and I listened.

I never listen.

Wondering aimlessly,

through my hollow mind and body.

I push,

the sole of my foot

 forward.

It took those,

 final moments,

of living for me to realize.

There was no longer

a stable ground,

the world was ringing

red and black.

I was the queen.
