'Mixed Emotions' Chapter 23:

Crystals POV:
I fixed my clothes and my hair after Chris stupidly decided to push me out of his house. I walked away from Chris' front door, making sure I was far away from Chris' house and started making my long walk back to my house. I took out my phone from my back pocket, while walking, clicking Linda's number. "Hello?" I heard Linda say through the phone after picking up on the 2nd ring. "Yeah I just left Chris' house and Kiki was there." I said to Linda on the phone, "Alright thanks for telling me." Linda said to me, "Why did you ask me to go over to Chris' house to check for Kiki?" I asked Linda. "I was just asking" Linda said to me. "But why?" I asked Linda, trying to find out the real reason why she asked me to go to his house in the first place. "I'll call you back later." Linda spoke through the phone, she then hanged up the phone before I could even say anything. I rolled my eyes and slipped my phone into my back pocket, I looked around for Kiki but I didn't see her anywhere, and just kept walking making my way home.

I got home in like 10mins, and went straight to take a quick bath and took out my Khaki summer dress from my wardrobe to wear because It was so hot. After I finished doing my personal hygiene, and was dressed up, I opened up my windows in my house for some fresh air then went to the kitchen, opening my fridge door and took out my water bottle closing the fridge door. I opened up my water bottle drinking some of it and went back to my living room, I decided not to put on the TV in my living room and sat down on my sofa putting my bottle of water on the floor and picked up my phone that I tossed on the sofa before I ran upstairs to freshen up. I scrolled through my contacts and rolled my eyes when I saw Kiki's name, I kept scrolling till I got to Paris' name and quickly called her asking if she could come over to my house. I need Paris right now, I needed a bit of fun at this moment. After coming off the phone to Paris, I decided to reply to a few of my text messages while waiting for Paris to come to my house.

Daves POV:
"Alright I'm coming over" I dropped my phone in the passenger seat and pulled off driving down the street to The Hilton Hotel. Linda just called me asking her to come and see her because she needed company and I don't really have anything else to do today so why not? I pull up to a red light, and picked up my phone clicking on Lindas name in my contacts list, putting it on loudspeaker and placed my phone in the passenger seat, it started ringing as I pulled off from the red light, and heard Lindas voice through the loudspeaker, "Hello?" She asked. "Yo." I said to Linda through the phone, "You alright?" I asked her. "Yeah just bored waiting for you." She said, I laughed as I spoke, "I'm nearly there, just making a left then I'll be there alright?." I said to Linda. "Okay see you soon." Linda said to me, "Ite bye" I said to her and she hung up. I pulled up to The Hilton Hotel and cut the engine as I got out of my car, grabbing my phone. I closed the door and locked it and made my way to the reception, passed the chatting to the receptionist then was in the lift going up to the 6th floor to Lindas Hotel Room.

Once I made it to Lindas room, I knocked and she opened it. I walked inside her hotel room and closed the door behind me. "Finally you came" Linda said to me as she gave me a hug. I hugged her back as I spoke, "Yeah had to make it here quickly because someone was complaining." I said to her and she laughed and playfully hit my arm. I smiled at her as I shook my head and walked over to her bed sitting up on it as I got comfortable and pulled out my already rolled up blunt of weed from my behind my ear and took out my lighter as I sparked my blunt and took a few puffs and look to my right to see Linda coming out of the bathroom with air freshener in her hand. I scrunched up my face, "What's that for?" I asked her pointing to the air freshener that she was holding. "It's an air freshener." I roll my eyes at her as I already knew that, and let out a small laugh. "I knew that already I meant why did you bring it out of the bathroom?" I asked Linda. "Well a certain someone is smoking in my room and you know I don't like my room stinking of weed." She said to me as she sprayed the room, I shook my head at her and got up to open the small balcony door that she had. "Is that better?" I asked Linda as I pointed to the door to the balcony that I just opened and took two puffs from my blunt. "Yeah thanks" she said to me as she walked over to her bedside table putting the air freshener there then grabbed the remote to put on the TV. I watched Linda as she got on her bed and sat up in the bed flicking through channels finding something to watch. I sat back on Lindas bed as I enjoyed the rest of my blunt and watched TV with her.
