I got to the scene to see the hollow bringing Yuzu to its mouth to eat her. I quickly jumped and cut the tongue of the hollow and caught Yuzu before she fell as I seen Ichigo arrive.

"Karin!" Ichigo shouted out to her. 

"One hostage is all I need. I've been waiting for you Soul Reaper." The hollows deep voice spoke. I shivered at the hollows voice as I picked up Yuzu and set her against a headstone. 

"Damn, that hollow is huge!" I thought amazed when I turned to look at it.

Rukia and the other Soul Reaper arrived a few minutes ago and we seen this girl with neck length black hair and very light purple eyes with this white and black like coat cover thing on her. 

"That’s not possible…" I heard Ichigo say. "Its that girl. The one I saw down by the river six years ago." He spoke in shock. 

"Six years ago? Ichigo, do you mean…?" Rukia trailed off as she looked at him. 

"That’s right, she's the one. I tried to stop her from jumping into the river but when I finally came to she was gone. And my mother, she was dead." Ichigo gritted his teeth.

"Six years ago? That’s a long time. And there has been so many, you don’t expect me to remember every soul I've eaten." The hollow gave a chuckle.

"That’s Grand Fisher. That’s the code name we've given him. He keeps himself invisible and disguises the lure growing out of his head as a human. Anyone who sees the lure, he knows has high spirit energy and immediately attacks and devours them, thus getting all their power. For fifty years this hollow has evaded every Soul Reaper that has gone after him. We know his favorite victims are women." Rukia explained to us. 

"So you're saying my mother was killed by…" Ichigo trailed off as he turned to her. Rukia didn’t answer, she just closed her eyes.

Okay, so we have a strong huge hollow, one that can turn himself invisible and attack a person at any minute. Kind of scary from my opinion. He can also avoid being killed by every Soul Reaper, so he's probably unbeatable. And he killed Ichigo's mother. What else can he do?

Since I was in my thought Ichigo had already started fighting and was now covered in the hollows hair. Suddenly that other Soul Reaper cut the hollows claw when it was distracted, and it dropped Karin. 

Ichigo slashed his way out of the hair and landed on the ground. I ran over to Karin and picked her up and when I was about to jumped away, the hair from the hollow came at us. 

"Karin! Hana!" Ichigo shouted out to us with wide eyes.

I didn’t have time get my sword out. My eyes were wide as I watched the hairs coming at us, I was in shock when the Soul Reaper jumped in front of me and tried to block the hairs with his sword but they split and shot through his body and out the back. 

Two got past him and came straight for me. I shifted Karin in my arms so she wouldn’t get hit. Those two thick hairs pushed through my chest and abdomen and out my back and into the concrete. Ichigo hastily jumped to us and cut the hairs and we were released.

I set Karin down gently on the concrete so I wouldn’t get any blood on her. I tasted a mouthful of metallic and felt blood dripping from my mouth and blood seeping out my wounds. 

"Why? You sacrificed yourself!" Ichigo stared down at the Soul Reaper in confusion and worry.

"I'm a Soul Reaper kid, and we fight hollows, we kill them without mercy no matter what." He said coughing out a bunch of blood. "When a hollow attacks at random and kills someone, that persons loved ones are the real victims. They're left with nothing but an emptiness. As a soul reaper, I couldn’t let that happen. We must always protect the innocent. Do you understand, spiky head?" he explained falling to the ground.
