Sorry for not updating in like a week guys... I've just been attacked so suddenly with laziness... Anyways, I hope you all enjoy this chapter!

Aaron's POV

"I told you to bring him back alive you idiot." I tell Travis, and he just lays Jeffory smack dab in the middle of a pile of mud. "He's alive..." Travis pants, one arm leaning against a tree. I walk towards Jeffory, and as soon as I step right next to him, his eyes open immediately.

He's silent, a look of both pain and distraught on his face. Scooting back a little, his arm gets stuck in the mud. "I should get what I asked for now." Travis says, sticking his hand out. Chuckling, I grab the small glass bottle out of my pocket.

I twiddle it in between my fingers, and there's an anxious look on his face. I grab Jeffory's arm, and pick him up off of the ground. Holding him by the back of his collar, I hear Travis growl. "You can't back down from the deal!" Travis yells at me furiously, and I smirk mischievously. "What deal?" I ask, and
Travis runs towards me, knife in hand.

He attempts to stab me, but I punch him, blood on my fist. His hair suddenly turns gray, and I watch as he stands up. "You're still the same person from four years ago." He spits at me, and I laugh, nodding. "You finally walked out of the cave, good job." I tell him, and I feel Jeffory's body twitch. I look at him, and his face is pale.

His breathing is slow, and I lightly slap in the face. I watch as his eyes roll inside his head, and Travis stares at me, an evil glint in his eyes. "Good luck with Katelyn... I hope to never see you again." I tell him, and right before I disappear, he smirks at me. The gray in his hair is slowly fading away, and I stay planted where I am, wanting to know what's going to happen.

"Why are you smirking?"

"No reason. Distraction is a key to almost everyone's plan."

A confused, almost fearful expression makes it way onto my face, and I realize that Jeffory has the bottle in his hands. When he about throws it to Travis, I catch it, and both Jeffory and I disappear.

Travis' POV

I stand there, contemplating on what just happened, and it hits me. Literally. I turn around, watching as a man with dark hair approaches me. "Travis, Travis, Travis... After all these years I finally found you. You look a heck ton like your father, but I shouldn't be complimenting you when your father passed away years ago." The man says, and my heart starts racing, cold chills going down my spine.

"Who are you?" I ask bluntly, depending on the tree next to me to hold up my weight. "I'm no one. Just a watcher in the skies that would gladly watch you and Aaron fight." He says, a dark and evil tone hiding in his innocent seeming voice.

Out of pure instinct, my guard is pushed all the way up, and the smirk on his face seems too familiar. I take a couple steps back, and he comes closer and closer to me. "Travis... Don't you remember? All the pain you put me through? All the nights I spent in that jail waiting for my revenge?!" He asks, and it clicks automatically in my mind.

Zane Ro'Meave- the doer of my Father's biddings.

Gold's POV

"He's gone." Joslyn says sadly, a doubtful look on her face which makes me want to scold her. Maybe my hopes are too high, but I know Katelyn will be alright in the end. Cold chills run down my spine when I hear voices from afar. "Be quiet." I whisper to Joslyn, and she gives me a confused look.

"Someone's still here." Telling her, I lead the way towards the voices, and it starts to get cold fast. "It's you." One of the voices says in a growling type way. "I know- it must be amazing to be in the presence of Zane Ro'Meave." One of the voices replies sarcastically, and I finally get a good view of two people.

One with Grayish white hair, another with pitch black hair. "Who are you?" The one with black hair asks, Josyln standing right behind me. "You don't need that information. Where is Jeffory Destrey?" I tell them both, and the one with white hair looks at the ground.

"Aaron Lyken took him." The one with white hair says, and Joslyn walks from behind me to in front of me in a matter of seconds. "Where did Aaron take him?" She asks, the gaze in her eyes almost challenging him.

"I don't know."

"How do you not know where Aaron took him?!" She yells furiously, and the man with white hair sighs. "He disappeared into thin air." He says, and the guy with black hair laughs hysterically. "You got all the information I have. Now be on your way." The white haired man says, and I clench my jaw. "This is a life or death situation." I growl, and I watch idiotically as the man with black hair takes the amulet off of Joslyn's neck.

She attempts to grab onto him, but he just laughs, crushing it slowly in his hands. "What is this worth?" The black haired man asks, and I run towards him, taking it from his hands. He trips me with his foot, and he picks it up off the ground. "It's worth nothing.. Give it back." Joslyn says, an almost fearful look in her eyes. "It won't matter if I destroy it then." The black haired man says casually, and he attempts to crush it in his hands.

Nothing happens. Nothing breaks or snaps, and I turn towards Joslyn. "What is it?" I ask her, and she looks happy yet sad at the same time.

"It's the rest of Jeffory's hope left."
