Normal P.O.V
When you talked to Riley earlier that day, Victoria came back to the warehouse. She's almost never there, but this time she returned.
She wasn't talking to you, or Riley. She was talking to herself, growling even. Cursing at nothing. But a name stuck out as she growled under her breath. Riley claimed this was a common thing.
James.
You didn't know who James was, but you knew he had a part in all of this. While everyone was getting ready and putting their graduation robes on, you wandered into Jasper's bathroom. He was situating his robe.
"Jasper?"
He looked at you with a slight smile as you stood in the doorway. Although everyone else was getting ready, you unfortunately were not.
Bella wanted time, and you, well, you had an eternity of time to give. But for her to intentionally ask the Cullens to not bring you to the graduation ceremony was low. It's not like she was the only one in her class graduating, so were the Cullens, who you could call in some way your "family".
"Who is James?"
The question made his face contort in a way you were unfamiliar with. "Why do you ask? Is this about Victoria?"
You walked in and sat on the bathroom counter. "Yeah, I heard her muttering that name under her breath. I don't think Riley knows whoever it is."
"James is dead." Jasper fixed his tie, looking at his reflection in the mirror. "James is," he stopped himself. "James was Victoria's mate."
You looked towards the ceiling, thinking, If James was her old mate, why is she still cursing about him. She has Riley.
A thought finally clicked, "He died at the Cullens' hands, didn't he?"
Jasper tilted his head, resting against the glass shower. "He did. How did you-"
"If Victoria's after revenge for James," you started talking, but slowed down, trailing off.
"She'll go after Bella." Jasper concluded with a smirk. He walked closer to you, the Romeo-Juliet feeling of forbidden love returning, and pushed a strand of (H/C) hair out of your face.
"I'll see you after the ceremony." He said in a low voice, looking at your bright eyes. You nodded in response, watching as he left the bathroom, and soon the house.
With the information that Victoria is after Bella, you felt as though you had the upperhand against Victoria, but one thing you learned after working with Riley is to never underestimate Victoria.
Hours later of sitting and doing nothing, you quickly got ready and put some makeup on.
Once the music started getting loud, and the smell of blood filled your nose, you figured it'd be time to try to enjoy the party you weren't invited to. You couldn't necessarily be forbidden to go considering you live in the house the party was located in.
You stood on the top of the steps, stopping mid-movement. The sudden smell of dog filled your senses.
Jacob Black walked past you. He didn't realize you were there on the steps, or probably in the same house.
He had two of his pack members with him. You remember their names to be Quil and Embry. Entering a vampire's territory alone would be equivalent to jumping into a pack of hungry wolves, plain suicidal, so you weren't surprised he didn't come alone.
He walked closer to Bella, and soon enough they were face-to-face.
"What're you doing here?" You heard Bella ask, a grimace on her face.
